United States | 31 December 2024The shoes are good, but the customer service is not. I needed to exchange a size because there is nowhere near me to try them on. The product page said they were in stock, but when I tried to go through the online process to exchange them, it said they were out of stock. I have tried calling at least 3 times and the first couple of times, I was on hold for over an hour before giving up. The company needs to get up to speed and have a system for customer service to call customers back when they are that behind. Today, I was on hold for 2 hours and 40 minutes before someone answered the phone. She told me the size I need is out of stock and the warehouse probably hasn't had time to update the website. I checked with the Clarks outlet about 40 minutes from home to see I could return them there, and she said no since I used paypal to pay for them. She told me I could return them online without paying shipping. However, when I went through the online return process, it said it was charging me $5 for shipping. If the website would let me, I would even exchange for a different shoe if I could do it without paying for shipping for both pairs. But instead, I would have to pay $5 to ship one back and who know what shipping is to order another pair. If I could get someone on the phone in less than 2 hours, I might be able to exchange through the phone for free, but it is not worth my time. I will shop elsewhere.

I was allowed to enter my PO Box as my address only to find out Clark's does not deliver to PO Boxes and my shoes were shipped back to Clark's. In this day and age, there is no reason why a customer should be able to enter a PO Box if PO Boxes are not accepted. There was nothing on the payment screen indicating that PO Boxes are not accepted. Very disappointed.

Canada | 31 December 2024I tried to cancel an order that had not been shipped yet. It was in the system as “accepted”. I was told that once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled or modified and I would have to return the order once I receive it, at my expense. Ridiculous.

United States | 31 December 2024I have purchased several Clarks clogs in the past & have loved the quality & fit! These are way too narrow as the same size I have always purchased & the heel is made of a much cheaper quality than I have ever seen on Clarks shoes before. Not happy that I have to pay $5 shipping to return lesser quality shoes & not appropriate sizing than I thought I was purchasing. I will most likely not be a return customer, sadly.

United States | 31 December 2024I purchased a pair of boots that advertised free exchanges, however when I tried to exchange due to a wrong size issue I was told the only option was to return and repurchase at their current price. I initially emailed to ask about the exchange since it wouldn’t let me do it online and waited 5 days with no response. When I called on the fifth day, the representative acknowledged that he saw the advertisement says free exchanges, however, told me that it was unfortunate that he was not going to be able to initiate an exchange and that he spoke to a supervisor who advised I would have to return the shoes and re-purchase For full price which was more than $50 over what I had paid for the boots. When I asked why I wasn’t able to exchange them I was simply told because he wasn’t able to do that. There was no other explanation given, and he agreed that it seemed wrong that they advertised free returns and exchanges when that is not the case when I asked to speak to the supervisor, I was told “they just went into a business meeting.” Unless you live close to a physical store where you can do your return if you happen to order the wrong size, I would highly recommend avoiding any orders with Clarks.

United States | 31 December 2024Ordered a pair of boots for my husband as well as a tube of leather restoring liquid. My order arrived quickly however the tube of leather cleaner was thrown into the shoe box on top of the shoes which then left scratch marks of the brand new boots inside. What a bummer. The boots are beautiful, I just hate to get them new but with scratches that would not have happened if items were packaged properly.

I contacted the company and they refunded me 30% off of my order! Much thanks to Mushfeeqha Bower for helping me with this!! Clarks USA has the best customer service!

United States | 30 December 2024Clarks is a good company with well made shoes and prompt delivery, when one orders online. Unfortunately, I am no longer be able to find a good fit. As I've aged, I've needed a wider toe box, but the W boot I'm sending back is still uncomfortably snug across my metatarsals. However, the heel space has been so widened, the back end of my foot actually sloshes loosely in the shoe's heel cup. If the manufacturer would just reverse this algorithm - give a wee bit more space in the toe box, and less in the heel, I'd be a happy camper and keep the beautiful shoes I'm sending back. I'm not alone, among women in my age demographic, at being unhappy with Wide shoe proportions like these - they are all too common.

United States | 30 December 2024Clarks are my favorite shoes by far. I can spot a pair of Clarks on a rack of second hand shoes, from across the room. I have always had 2nd hand Clarks. I have worn them until they have holes in the bottom, or worn the sole off. I was rewarded my social security disability, and decided I would benefit in the long run by purchasing 3 pairs of new Clarks!!
