A group of us were assisted in a human rights matter by paralegal Shelby Keppel and solicitor Francesca Cociani. Shelby efficiently arranged legal aid for those of us entitled to it. Francesca represented us in the Magistrates Court where the Metropolitan Police were attempting to prosecute us under coronavirus regulations for being outside our homes to attend a protest on 28 November 2020. I had a legal property issue and this firm come up as prospective specialists, following a google search. Their Trustpilot reviews were good, so I requested a callback via their website. Their site stated that my request had been received, although I did not receive any email or text confirmation. I waited 5 hours and had not received a call back or any communication. Given the urgency of my situation I decided to call them, and after some 5 minutes of menu navigating I believed that I was "holding" for someone from the correct team. After a further 8 minutes of holding, with no explanation that I would need to, or how long that might take, the phone was answered. I began to explain my situation, to see if their firm might assist, but the phone was either put down or we were cut off by their system. I decided that I didn't want to be represented by a firm with such poor attention to and systems for customer management.

I had a social housing matter to which I thought a court hearing was going to be necessary. On the contrary, after Farzana assisted me there was no need for a hearing, as after some communications, the local council decided not to escalate matters further with a hearing which was just amazing. I was kept in the loop with regular communications either by email or phone.
