Filled out all the paperwork for Green Homes Grant via City Energy in Mar 2021 sadly there were huge delays at the Land Registry so I couldn't get the proof of ownership before the government pulled the funding. I was then contacted by City Energy in Aug 2021 saying a new wave of funding had been released and I filled in all the paperwork, signed the Terms and Conditions TWICE, sent all the proof of earnings and benefits in Aug 2021. I phoned 4 or 5 times between Sep 2021 and Dec 2021 to be told my application was authorised and Adam Fleming would call me back to book in a survey. I trusted this information however I phoned back today Mar 2022 to find City Energy have no details on me and now I have to resubmit everything as they can no longer find or access my data and they are probably out of funding.

From the initial contact with City energy until the solar panels were fitted i can honestly say I only have fantastic things to say. After filling out the first form I was contacted within days for an initial chat about the help we required. Matthew the surveyor visited within a couple of weeks to talk us through all our options. We were surprised at how many choices we were given and some we had never even considered. Matthew was very friendly and professional from the outset and we can't thank him enough for all he has done. Ours wasn't as straight forward as hoped but Matthew did all the work and sorted out the best and efficient way of it all happening. Regular updates and keeping in touch made it all run smoothly. Our panels were fitted not very long after. The fitters went above and beyond fitting our panels whilst working in the dark with lights to complete it all on the same day. City energy have always replied to any emails very quickly, usually within minutes. The help we are receiving will make so much difference to our lives. I can not express my gratitude to all involved. We still have things to be done and we were contacted soon after the panels were fitted giving time frames which again are amazing. I whole heartedly would recommend anyone to use and work with these guys. The know exactly what needs doing and all departments work together and keep in touch so you never feel you don't know whats going on. Can't wait for our next stage!

Matt who did the initial survey was very polite and friendly. He explained everything very well. Once approved it was straightforward and quick. All workers were very pleasant and knew what they were doing. I’m very pleased with the outcome.

City Energy handled my Green Homes Grant from application through to completion. It was a streamlined process and much easier than I had imagined. I applied, uploaded the documents needed and the application was approved within 48 hours. They arranged for a surveyor to come out and he prepared an EPC. The surveyor talked through and explained my options. I decided how I wanted to spend the grant and City Energy organised the tradespeople. It was all very straightforward and professionally managed. Highly recommend.

City Energy fitted solar panels for me through a Government Grant. From the very beginning when I was contacted by their surveyor, to the final contractor leaving, I can honestly say they were all great. Because it was a Government Grant I was worried that actually it was all a scam. I contacted City Energy and went through every worry I had. They talked me through my concerns and confirmed in writing everything I had asked. The actual installation took about 4 hours, 2 for the electrics, 2 for the boys on the roof. They were all really polite and left my house and garden tidier than when they arrived!

Great service from City Energy through the Green Homes Grant. We had external wall insulation and central heating system installed - all people involved have been very polite, in regular communication and worked hard to get everything done on time. It did take a while to get all the works done (from surveys through to end of works probably about 7 months) but I think there's a lot of hoops that have to be jumped through when administering this grant. All in all, very pleased - thank you City Energy!

The whole process was excellent from my initial enquiry re free solar panels through the Local Authority Distribution grant, to the survey by Matt Williams & then the installation by Island Renewables. Matt was professional & efficient, as were the installation team. Highly recommend!

Working full time I felt like I had won the lottery being told I would be eligible for a green homes grant for heating installation and solar panels. My only heat source is a stove which is no longer safe to use and being on my own funds are always super tight. I was over the moon to think a company could benefit from this scheme and take on the work. Fast forward 8 months with quotes and revised quotes and the vouchers being issued back in the summer I discover that nothing is going to happen at all. The government had released the funds for the installation and up until last week my endless emails and phone calls not always answered but when they did I was always assured it would all be completed by the date the vouchers expired. Last week I was politely told that it would not be so, the heating voucher has already expired and the solar panels would possibly not happen either, they would email the relevant persons and hope, that voucher expires in 3 days. I'm so disappointed and now I have no heating for this coming winter. Although the team are super polite I feel very let down and wishing I had seeked to use another company.

Having applied for a green government grant a representative named Matt from City Energy came to carry out an assessment on our home. Matt was extremely knowledgeable and thorough which resulted in us being entitled to Solar PV on our roof. Within 6 weeks of Matt coming our new Solar PV was fitted. We’re over the moon with it and found the whole process very easy! Thank you City Energy 😃
