IUniverse is doing a great job in pushing my book through their system. the people their have been very helpful at ever step of the way.

If you want to just publish and get listed, no need for them. They do have some knowledgeable people but an abundance of not helpful nor communicative staff, as well. they are a sales machine to sell their services and not aimed at selling your book

I have self-published six books with Iuniverse. I wouldn't think of publishing with anyone else! The staff has always responded quickly and efficiently to any questions/concerns that I may have had; thus the process of publishing was indeed a smooth and unproblematic experience as always! It is always a delight to work with Iuniverse! They are top notch; delivering such beautifully-crafted books.. My recent book was completed and has gone "live" within just a couple of days! - amazing! I am very pleased with Iuniverse! Thank you again for doing such a great job!

i Universe puts out a superior book product. The other services were sub-par especially the pricing of my book which IUniverse insisted must be way too low. I have lost a lot of money as a result.

Decent straightforward to get book published. Received books late because of lack of notification of book process. Have not involved marketing to comment.

Every associate that worked on my project was prompt with their part of the process. They responded to my emails and questions on time and in details, even at midnight and over the weekends. They truly encouraged me to push forward. One associate even negotiated the cost downward in my favor and gave me a workable payment plan. I-Universe was patient with me and guided me the way I needed to be guided throughout the process. They didn't rush me at any time and I was relaxed to put in my best.

The publishing team that assisted with submission and the design team that helped with production were responsive and easy to work with. I have a wonderful published product! The only downside now is that marketing is so expensive, so I've had to resort to doing it myself if I want to make any sales.

I decided not to publish my book through iuniverse because they make it very difficult to be a self publisher. After canceling my association with them, they kept $400.00 from the amount I initially paid them. They owe me a refund of $2,500. One week later I’m still waiting for the refund. They tell me they are “working on the refund”, however, I keep getting excuses as to why I haven’t received my money. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy!! If I don’t hear back from them today, I’m probably going to hire an attorney and sue them in Civil Court.

The final product of the book turned out good. Could have been better if we could have placed some images (pictures, etc) in it. There was some miscommunication involving different departments. In the end, it turned out to be a very expensive project. There was no follow-up involving the marketing people. We probably will go with a different publishing company next time.

So far so good. They have done everything they said they would do. My “In this Life and the Next” books should be here today and I’m very excited.

Great service and added value with the options that they offer

You better make sure that you know how much money you will be spending before hand so you will not be surprised later on. Also, the costumer service representatives are very rude and hard to deal with. I would never wish my experience on anyone else
