Paid for a Jeep while were were in st. Thomas, got to the island and ...no Jeep. Kemwel is a second party and it is absolutely not the same as going directly to the car rental directly as I have sadly found... Also .. can take up to 2 weeks to expect to see the money you put out to them!!!!!!!! RUN! They are horrible to do business with

Kemwel engages in deceptive advertising. In big print when you reserve on their website the note "TOTAL RENTAL" and quote the amount, in in small print below they note ("see rate details for any applicable local fees") without noting that those local fees are extra. And in the PDF contract that they send you after you have paid for the reservation is says "Balance due on delivery - .00" and then says "excluding local frees listed below. Could anything be more deceptive? We were late getting into Brussels Zaventem and the Hertz office (that auto rental company that Kemwel placed the rental through) was closed (they close at 11:30 PM). When I called Kemwel to adjust or cancel the reservation their agent Martin said that if I had called Hertz would have stayed open late. But Patrick at the desk of Hertz at Brussels airport said that was not the case. So Martin was just making it up on the go, or lying. Martin from Kemwel also said that I should have called them to know that we would arrive late. But I explained to him that we were on the taxiway for 45 minutes, that made us too late, and that it was impossible to all as you can't call when you are taxing. Patrick at the Hertz desk in Brussels airport said that this is a common complaint with Kemwel - that clients feel they have been deceived. And that they would never use them again. In the end, they are as high or higher than renting directly from the auto company. I clearly am in the category of Kemwel customers that Patrick from Hertz refers to - NEVER AGAIN.
