Easy ordering, delivered on time.

Although window frame for delivery was up to 15 days, it would be nice to have a rough idea if delivery times. This order came on the last day of 15 and there was no communication until I enquired the night before

Goff got me out of a fix. I had ordered but then ran out of oil. They were not scheduled to deliver to me but were next door and kindly met my order there and then.

Payment was taken once order was made but the wait for oil was lengthy this time.Usually Goff 's delivery is pretty speedY.Notification on your web site of heavy demand might have helped decide on choice of delivery.Our oil level was dropping rapidly over this 18 day wait, bearing in mind you had been paid .

You are very quick at taking my money but very slow and no communication about delivery. I received my oil on the last day that you were committed to delivering (12 working days before delivery) You must have gained good interest onc. ustomer payments. Does not sit well for good customer care

Unfortunately the lead time had changed from the normal 7/10 days to 14/21 which meant that we ran out of oil completely! They were not interested or capable of making a special delivery even if we paid extra. So I had to collect two barrels from Rye oil and pump them in myself. They didn’t seem concerned at all.

Initially it was not a success. Delivery date not met. However delivery was made efficiently and courteously.

I have used Goff for some time now and always find their pricing fair and competitive. Delivery can be sometimes earlier than expected. The delivery drivers are always polite and helpful.

Im new to oil fired heating and panicked slightly when the "oil low" sensor in our new home went off after a few days. Lady on sales line very helpful and delivery was made quickly and efficiently.

No empathy and not helpful. Since ordering I’ve completely run out of oil, because temperatures went to below -3 degrees unexpectedly and the delivery lead time is so long. At the time I couldn’t afford to pay for delivery on top, but it never usually takes the full 15 days and I thought we could last. Now I’ve spent half term freezing with a sales response that my delivery will be on or before the 17th day after my payment completed. Furthermore, if I ask for a refund, that will take 5 days for money to reach my account. So I can’t go anywhere else now. Over half a month to deliver, money upfront and no support under extenuating conditions, how can companies think this is acceptable? I’m now certain that Goff are not the great family company worthy of my loyalty in future. Thanks for answering Gavin - but 15 full days is misleading. Order placed 7th Payment cleared 8th - 26th is 18 days lead-time.
