United Kingdom | 22 February 2025Unfortunately the lead time had changed from the normal 7/10 days to 14/21 which meant that we ran out of oil completely! They were not interested or capable of making a special delivery even if we paid extra. So I had to collect two barrels from Rye oil and pump them in myself. They didn’t seem concerned at all.

Since ordering I’ve completely run out of oil, because temperatures went to below -3 degrees unexpectedly and the delivery lead time is so long. At the time I couldn’t afford to pay for delivery on top, but it never usually takes the full 15 days and I thought we could last. Now I’ve spent half term freezing with a sales response that my delivery will be on or before the 17th day after my payment completed. Furthermore, if I ask for a refund, that will take 5 days for money to reach my account. So I can’t go anywhere else now. Over half a month to deliver, money upfront and no support under extenuating conditions, how can companies think this is acceptable? I’m now certain that Goff are not the great family company worthy of my loyalty in future. Thanks for answering Gavin - but 15 full days is misleading. Order placed 7th Payment cleared 8th - 26th is 18 days lead-time.
