United Kingdom | 17 January 2025Goff accepted the order with instructions to use a baby tanker as we live on a narrow lane, to which they had delivered many times before. The driver ignored this instruction on two separate occasions, failed to call us to tell us that he could not deliver and then Goff cancelled the order. A shoddy experience all round, including their customer service who still have not responded to my complaint!

United Kingdom | 17 January 2025I asked for a phone call before delivery. They sent a text instead, to a phone that is seldom turned on. As a result the driver arrived un-announced and had to wait while I dressed and opened the gate to let him in. I future I hope I will get a real phone call.

United Kingdom | 15 January 2025Delivered substandard oil - see letter that explains the situation I am not sure if the HSE Manager has visited the office since your reply to my email of 12 December when you told me that they would be back in the office on Monday 16 December and would respond to my email then. To help jog your memory attached is my letter also delivered to you by recorded delivery as well as by email on or around the 13 December. Who knows maybe you are snowed under with complaints ? Unsurprisingly, as seems to be the norm, my Aga went out again last Thursday for the fourth time since September. It had been relit and cleaned by him less than three weeks ago. My Aga technician was kind enough to visit again on Friday morning (£80) for the fourth time since September. Same problem found (see picture attached taken on Friday) as per my letter "premature carboning of burner”. I have blind copied Ms ? and Mrs ? who have been kind enough to give me copies of their correspondence with Goff detailing the same problems subsequent to an oil delivery from Goff. I have also included their trading standards complaints reference number/s in the subject line and a PDF of their emails / letters to you. I sympathise with Mrs ? and It is not unreasonable for her to : "request that you refund me for the costs for call out and repair/servicing we have/will incur with our Aga engineer which will be ongoing until the contaminated oil is replaced and the tank cleaned”. Ms ? took your advice and pumped out her tank and had it cleaned and made the fatal error of putting the contaminated Goff Kerosene back into her tank and the rest you know. On a more positive note, having had no option but to wait until my oil tank was nearly empty, I have now been fortunate enough to have a delivery of Glowmax from Certas. The Aga is now up to temperature for the first time since September when you delivered your substandard Kerosene and is running perfectly.

United Kingdom | 14 January 2025Driver is always very cheerful and engaging. First time I’d ordered online rather than calling, all was straightforward. One thing I find curious is that the day before you delivered to us you delivered to the house opposite us. Wouldn’t it make sense to you strategically and economically to deliver in local batches? In this case was the same road and the same driver. Going to the same road twice in two days seems a waste of resources and bad planning for your company.
