Where to start, we purchased a Range Rover from a690 in Dec 2016 having received first class customer service from Kieran we purchased the extended warranty (albeit with reservations) , within a couple of days it was apparent the rear split screen was faulty NOTHING was too much trouble to sort the problem. Given our geographical location it was arranged that we could take the vehicle to a specialized company to fix. Unfortunately the car had to be returned to a690, a courtesy car was provided whilst the issue was fixed, a prompt well informed service was provided by the team. Fast forward 12 months - the car developed a knocking sound, We contacted Dean in servicing and asked if this could be investigated under the terms of the warranty (we have to admit being incredibly skeptical at this point) As the car was due for a service anyway the two were arranged concurrently and coincided with us being away on holiday. The car was collected, repaired and serviced whilst we were away, there was absolutely no justification for our skepticism and we would highly recommend the extended warranty. All in all our experience with a690 has been first class, if you are thinking of purchasing a vehicle from them then do, we will certainly be returning when it is time to part company with the current car.

Phil I have purchased loads of cars in my short time of driving 11 years (78 cars) buying and selling, the reason I return to A690 Specialist Cars is because I love the no BS policy that you run, I don’t like the approach of tell the customer what they want to hear and get the car sold and deal with any issues once it’s left(which has happened to me several times at other dealers) from what I see you don’t sell your cars for “numbers” but you sell your cars because you care that people get a great deal and a great car, you have a “REAL” dealership, your not just a person who buys a car in too make the optimum profit out of it with minimal work, I can say on first hand and personal experience I’ve never once seen a garage take in a px and check the car as thorough as you guys do for peace of mine for the customer and yourself to sell a high quality vehicle!

I was not a client or customer of this company but passing in distress as my vehicle broke down on their doorstep.. The salesmen were quick to offer assistance immediately.. Having a one of their mechanics look at my car and advise of faults.. Once told the car had no alternative but to be towed they offered to call around and seek us recovery.. Further more they pushed my car to a safe place until it could be collected.. Took us in from the cold and not only that provided a warm cappuccino as well as Advice going forward and immediate lift to our home address to get our other car so that I may collect my son from nursery and not be late.. This company was generous and kind throughout and made the experience the least stressful breakdown I've had. They would accept NOTHING in return for their trouble. Not many companies would go to lengths they went through to help us. If I ever look for another vehicle I would certainly put my trust in them and seek their services and whole heartedly recommend them.

I sold a car to A690 and have to say the service was painless and efficient. A target price was agreed over the phone, the representative arrived at the agreed time and purchased the car at the agreed price. Payment was instantly transferred to my account. I left an item in the car and that was posted back to me the same day. I'd have no hesitation dealing with this company again - maybe a purchase next time :-)

I was in the market for a second-hand car but fancied something a little special, I saw a lovely car on-line and called in - just on spec just to have a look. We didn't have much time as we were in a rush but was approached to see if I wanted any help (no pressure felt) by Alex who was fantastic from the word go. He happily sat with me, offered a nice coffee and discussed the fact I needed to trade in a car and the budget I was working to. Alex took the time to look at a number of options and made changes in order to get me the deal I wanted. Thank you Alex! I felt the garage was modern, clean and tidy with great stock to choose from and every member of the team was fantastic. I was promised my car in two days time, in that time it was serviced, MOT'd and cleaned. Alex phoned to tell me it was ready and on turning up I found it all clean and ready for me WITH fuel in!! I noted that it had been given brand new brake discs and pads all round and on inquiring was told that on service the guys didn't feel it right to send it out so replaced the lot! I was very impressed as I know that's not cheap! Alex went through the final paperwork and then completed the road tax for me there and then. A final look around the car with me and I was away a very happy chap! I had to call in for a final piece of paperwork I'd left there the next day and the garage team (not salesmen) came out and were so friendly and polite and seamed as excited about my car as I! On picking up the paperwork Alex even left a gift for me! Well done to you all, I love my car and most importantly I enjoyed the experience and feel safe that I am valued and being looked after. When the time to service the car comes I will be returning and when we are ready for a new car, will be back! Thanks again!

We were looking for a Land Rover Discovery 3 and had seen a few on website, so went through to have a look but they werent exactly what we were looking for. We meet Paul and he asked what we were looking for and he showed us a Disco 4 that had just come in, it was dirty but said we could test drive it and it was spot on, Paul gave us a good part ex price and sorted the few things that probably other dealers would not of not of done. after having the car a few days we had a couple of issues which Paul said to bring it in and gave us a courtsey car and kept me informed while it was in, picked car back up with it all sorted and told exactly what was done. I have no problem in recommending A690 to others as it was the best service we have had when buying a car, Thanks to Paul and the rest of the lads at A690 and we will be back in the future. Second time buying a car from A690, great car again, no hassle sale from Paul and Kieran. They arranged everything including private plate transfer. Nothing was to much trouble and no added cost. Recommend to anyone looking for a top spec car in the north east.

Would just like to say i have been absolutely Blown Away by my experience with A690 Specialist Cars. I recently bought an Audi A4 Avant S line in cambridge green from them and was given a very warm welcome when i arrived to view the car. They give me more money for my car than other garages had offered but that was just a small part of my happiness that i shopped there for my new car. The aftercare was superb as i had a few issues with the car a month down the line, they brought the car in and gave me a courtesy car whilst they repaired my car and even replaced parts that other garages would of charged me for. I am very grateful and would definitely recommend them.👍👌

The alternator on our Landrover Discovery failed when we were on holiday. A690 Specialist cars accepted the car in at very short notice just before closing on the Wednesday and had it repaired for us to collect by Friday morning. Connor kept us informed and was really helpful. As we were on holiday we needed the car back quickly and really appreciated their help. The guys at A690 cars gave excellent service and we would highly recommend them. Mr and Mrs Gibson.

From the minute I stepped in the showroom Alex was extremely helpful. I originally booked to test drive an Audi A1 and it was ready waiting for me when I turned up. Alex got myself and my partner cups of coffee as he talked through the part exchange price of my car. He was extremely fair and gave me an excellent part ex deal! I had my eye on a TT that was in the showroom itself and Alex and Kieran done everything to accommodate my requirements. They moved the cars and opened the windows so I could test drive the car that was in the showroom. Upon purchasing the car they constantly kept me informed with excellent communication. The turn around was so quick! 2 days and I had my new car!! They sorted everything out for me including the tax so I had nothing to worry about. They also let me use the PC in the office to search for cheap car insurance. I couldn't have asked for a better service. Highly recommend the guys at A690!! The car was sparkling when I picked it up. Couldn't pick a fault!
