This is the 5th tow bar I have had fitted by this company! The price is always the cheapest and the service is second to none! I wrote a review very recently, headed ‘Be Aware’ whereby I mentioned I hadn’t told Trailertrek (when asked if my vehicle had any modifications), that my vehicle had an LPG gas conversion. I didn’t mention it as I thought it a Factory Fitted conversion, and have since had verification it is a Dual Fuel Factory Fitted conversion. On arrival at my home, Trailertrek said they couldn’t fit the towbar to my vehicle because it had an LPG conversion and that the gas tank location would interfere with the fitting instructions. I therefore lost my deposit as I hadn’t mentioned this previously. Trailertrek kindly allowed me to keep the towbar, and on further research, I was able to find a company Tow-Trust who was able to fit the towbar for me, with the aid of using ramps to make fitment more accessible. I do feel that Trailertrek on arrival at my home to do the fitting, neglected to make it clear that they were unable to do a ‘mobile’ fitment as they hadn’t the correct equipment, rather than say it couldn’t be done. However, it would have helped the situation had I mentioned my vehicle was dual fuel previously. So my point is, to anyone in a similar situation, ‘Be Aware’ that a gas conversion may likely hinder the installation of a towbar by a ‘mobile’ fitter.

I had a towbar fitted early last year by Trailertrek, it was quite urgent as I had just bought a caravan and I needed to collect it earlier than expected. The quote I received was highly competitive and Wayne called me to discuss all of the options with me, such as they type of towbar and the different sort of electrics you can have. Grant the engineer came to my workplace at the stated time and fitted the towbar without any issues. Despite the torrential rain Grant completed the work very quickly and clearly has a great deal of knowledge of this work. I was totally satisfied with the work done and the fact that both Grant and Wayne were helpful and professional at all times. A year later I needed to change my car so I had no hesitation whatsoever to contact Trailertrek again (I didn't feel the need to bother with anybody else because of my first experience) and made arrangements to have a towbar fitted to the new car. Grant came to my home this time as planned and started the process of preparing the car to fit the new towbar, In the process of this preparation Grant found that (unknown to me) the car had a factory fit towbar on the car that folded under the rear bumper. It was therefore not necessary to fit a new one. Despite feeling a bit silly about this Grant checked that this towbar was both mechanically and electrically functional and safe, and advised me that the tow bar just needed a good clean (to ensure my caravan stabiliser worked correctly). My second experience of TrailerTrek made me even more impressed with the service they offer Wayne and Grant conducted themselves with integrity and honesty at all times and given what had become quite an unusual situation I feel they were very reasonable about it all.. I have no hesitation in recommending Trailertrek because it is clear that they have a pride in what they do and they are also interested in the customer service element of the role . I had this company fit to two vehicles in December. A Transit Custom and a Tipper. I was gonna review the excellent work but didn’t get round to it until they rang and asked yesterday. The office staff were really good. Spoke to the bloke who gave me details. When rang to book in I spoke to a woman who was friendly and they are VAT registered which was a must. Price was good. The engineer Grant was great fun and knew his job. They done a great couple of jobs for me and I’m glad they rang so I can put my experience forward for them which was first class.

Shocking experience, I was left feeling like these people just don’t know what they’re talking about. They messed around trying to chose the right electrics then claim to have brought the wrong ones for my vehicle at point of install. The install was aborted and I got my deposit back. The snotty attitude of “Michaela” on the phone just added to my low opinion of this company.

Just had a towbar fitted to my BMW 3 series estate and I have to say this company does what it says; the fitter was knowledgeable, professional and did a really neat job of installing the tower. The office explained the benefits of dedicated electrics and were both efficient and polite. Can't fault the company would recommend. James

I found Trailertrek prices very competitive and yet provided a service and quality equal to the car dealership. Very flexible arrangements to fit the towbar at home with no inconvenience over a couple of hours. The technician explained how to operate the removable towball and demonstrated the lights and warning systems working as a result of the vehicle specific wiring system. Excellent service.

Was really nervous of car being taken apart to do the tow bar but worried about nothing was done with full professionalism by the lad who came and couldn’t tell car bumper etc had even been removed I would recommend this company 100% very nice fitter didn’t take him long and he checked everything with me on completing the job I will use this company whenever I need a tow bar no need to look any further as wouldn’t get a better service anywhere

Trailertrek were not the cheapest of the options I looked at but I am very happy that we used them. The engineer turned up when promised and fitted the tow bar. We had a problem with not being able to remove it. Yet again they turned up when promised next day and demonstrated that it was user error on our part. All sorted. I would definitely use them again.

Called up on the Wednesday for a quote after speaking to Micaila on phone for 5mins who filled me with knowledge about what i needed i ended up paying my deposit there & then no drama. Fitter arrived the following Tuesday as arranged & Nick the fitter got the job sorted no drama very professional & polite from start to finish (Credit to the company) & im very happy with the end product regarding the Towbar you cant even tell there is one on my vehicle 💯👌🏾😎 Thanks Tow Trek Trailers.

Since writing this review, Wayne has been in touch and rectified the situation. I am please to say that the fitter successfully fitted the towbar at last week and I am very happy with the outcome. Thank you for sorting this out Wayne. Previous review: Terrible Service, especially from the Wayne the MD. We needed to amend the fitting time on Thursday due to a problem with the key and they were extremely inflexible and refused to be at all accommodating. Then they refused to fit the tow bar and still charged us the full £150 deposit. Would never use them!

Towbar fitted on a Peugeot 308SW. Quick service, Called up on a Wednesday, got me in the following Tuesday. Very reasonable price. Brink Towbar so a good brand. Towbar was fitted at my work whilst I wasn’t on site. The fitter called me to say on his way. The quality of the fitters works was brilliant, you would never tell it even has a towbar! All in all a great service, efficient and top quality. Will definitely use again.

I completed an online enquiry form and got a response within 10mins. I needed a towbar fitted quickly and they managed to get me i within 2 days (cancellation) They arrived at the time they said they would and did the job with no problems at all and the best part of was the price. I was originally quoted a price from towbar express (avoid towbar express) who let me down, tried TrailerTrek and not only were they more efficient, reliable and courteous on the phone.........They were nearly £100 cheaper.
