McEwan Fraser kept me fully up to date through their online customer portal, emails & telephone calls. They produced a great schedule & Diane, who devised the schedule, offered some very helpful advice how to present the property effectively. She also had great knowledge of the local housing market, which proved invaluable. During the legal process our Case Manager from McEwan Fraser, Ashley, kept me fully informed throughout. She provided a friendly & informative service. All legal processes were explained in layman's terms, which helped me to negotiate any requirements on my part during the sale of the property. I would highly recommend McEwan Fraser to anyone selling their property. They have an excellent outreach in terms of advertising, which ensured a high number of viewers. This in turn, helped us to receive a great price for our property. My name is Robert Clark and I sold my property with McEwan Fraser Legal at Braeside Cottage Ivy Walk Jubilee Crescent, Newton of Falkland, Cupar Lenka Votypkova was great to deal with and provided an excellent service,helpful and professional along with her assistant Freya Vincent. From arranging viewings right through to concluding the sale I was very happy with the service and would use McEwan Fraser legal again.

I recently bought my first home with the help of Andrew Darcy at McEwan Fraser legal. The experience was excellent, he communicated with me at every stage and offered expert advice regarding bidding, legalities, the market, and much more. I had previously dealt with another estate agency and they often didn't get back to my queries and weren't timely when I was bidding on properties, which I think is important when you're buying your first home. Andrew was totally the opposite - I would highly recommend using him.

I have now called regarding 3 properties they have for sale on their official website, amazingly all were sold many months ago, this not only is wasting my time but also the staff dealing with all of these enquiries. Please note that there are still many properties listed on their website as available when they actually sold a long time ago. I am assuming that MF are doing this to get customers data so they can then call back customer to offer one of their properties actually for sale which I am not in the slightest bit interested in as not suitable. On 1 property I actually also had issues getting confirmation on whether this property was actually available or not with different phone calls stating different things, including a 5 months difference on when a property actually sold. Every enquiry was a mess to be honest, especially compared with many other property agents who are so on the ball.

Without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with. Left me completely in the dark throughout the whole selling process. After agreeing a sale date I heard nothing from them until the entry date came and went. They didn't know the buyer changed their mind until I enquired what was happening. The buyer had asked for a different move in date which was not passed to me. The buyer back out of the purchase which was also not passed on to me. I found all of this out at 4pm on the day it was supposed to be sold. Avoid them at all costs. UPDATE: 2 YEARS LATER AND NOW THEY'RE ASKING FOR THEIR FEES TO BE PAID.... WHAT A JOKE OF A COMPANY

My lawyer was very professional and kept me updated throughout the process. Always replying quickly whenever I needed anything. Really competitive price with a quality service - would highly recommend to anyone considering! They’ve been in touch since my house purchase too following up and also helped me get the right contact regarding a cash back offer I had on my mortgage which was above and beyond their role. Good experience all round.

Used this company to sell a part of our garden, guidance was poor, no advice on all associated costs.Such as land surveyor and splitting of title. No visit to view COVID was the excuse, it was a plot of ground, the photographer came! No face to face was required. Of all estate agents used in the selling of our properties, this company was by far the worse

I cannot explain how awful a company this is. They make a conscious attempt to act as the solicitor for both the buyer and seller which feels completely wrong to me? We’re currently sitting on the day of we’re supposed to get our keys. They are refusing to hand over a closing statement to our solicitor with no idea where/when we can get our keys. On top of this the buyers premium is the scummiest thing I have ever heard of. After speaking to other people in this industry they have advised that this company is notoriously bad. Avoid at all costs!!

Used these solicitors to purchase my first house and couldn’t speak more highly of the service and employees. Everyone I dealt with couldn’t have been more helpful and all the emails and correspondence was dealt with professionally and efficiently. Highly recommend!

Claire who handled my conveyancing was a great asset throughout. The process was a lot more frustrating and drawn out than usual but Claire advocated well on my behalf and keep me as well informed as she could. Highly recommend.

Claire and Daria were very professional towards helping me purchase my house.

I purchased a property through them some time ago, the agent who dealt with the matter was Maya Vassileva James. The whole process through McEwan took ages to complete, the staff I dealt with when Maya was on holidays were clueless when trying to chase things up or just generally enquire about this matter. When I finally bought the property there were outstanding fixtures to be made. I was given a week in writing to disclose what needs to be fixed but when contacting Maya within the given time frame, all she said is along the lines of "you were late to respond, it's not our business and good luck to you" and ignored my e-mails ever since, leaving me to deal with the issues myself from my own pocket. This firm is interested in your money, not in the service to you as a customer. If you have a choice avoid them and find someone who will actually do the job they are paid for. p.s. Zero stars should be made a score after what I've experienced with Maya's laziness, lying and lack of respect along with the rest of the bunch at Fraser's.

I've given 4 stars for the following reasons. 1) the initial conversations/advice/feedback from the marketing team could be greatly improved. Too slow to get the property on the market; implied we would achieve far more for the property than the asking price (Andrew Darcy) and the brochure was very basic (not sure who was involved from the media team); initially had an unflattering photo (which was changed and also one of my own photos had to be used for an outside perspective). 2) the viewings and hits for the advertisement dropped considerably after a short time. I had to contact MFL with suggestions for improvements to the brochure which I believe ultimately lead to the sale. Once Logan Watt came on board it was full steam ahead with lots of advice and strategies. Thank you. 3) Once Adeeb Mostafa and his legal team took over with all the legalities for the sale I could then breath a sigh of relief. They were all very efficient and a pleasure to deal with. A very shaky start to the whole process of selling a property from afar but we all got over the line in the end. I do believe we lost precious time at the start which resulted in an overall loss to us of potential interest before the market began to change and added costs. We lost value and definitely lost some of our much needed profit on the sale of the flat.
