I wrote a 3/5 star review for a tap I ordered (the mixer handle is much too sensitive and hard to get just warm), but they never published it. I wrote and submitted a similar second review, but that also hasn't been published. So although the tap I ordered was sent quickly and is (just about) up to the job, I'd be wary of a lack of reviews or solely positive reviews for products. I'd have returned the tap (it cost £100), but I'd spent another £100 having it installed.

Not a great service, Order made on the 11th December, as a present for the 15th, they had a promostion of next day delivery, as of today the 16th I am STILL waiting for my order. When contacted Taps UK I was advised not out problem as we did send the order the next day, it is the delivery service. The delivery service you hired and instructed.

The quality of the Kitchen tap seems to be very good though I will not know how it performs for another couple of weeks. The delivery was very good, fast and straight into my hands. The ordering process was also quite simple, so to date, an excellent experience. Thank you.

I ordered a brand new sink and when it was fitted on the Saturday the plumber noticed a tiny dent on the lower right corner and the sink was slightly warped and did not sit flush. It is raised by about 4-5mm and shows a gap. Taps Customer Services were closed until Monday and I had no option but for the plumber to fit the sink and deal with it Monday. Having a family and children I could not be without a sink in the kitchen for that period of time. When I spoke to customer services on the Monday I was told that because I fitted the sink I had accepted it. No matter what I said to the advisor (who I can name) it was like talking to a robot and was told “As advised, as the item has been fitted, which is an acceptance of goods we do have to proceed with this a little differently than a standard damage claim, I do understand the reasoning for the item being fitted but unfortunately fitting the item is deemed as accepting the condition of the item” I told them that if they pay for the plumber then yes I want to replace it but they refused. Again it was just a repeated message being read from a book. They offered a £40 good will gesture which I refused at the time but was basically told by the manager to take it or leave it.

I received a kitchen tap which had one of the handles broken off. Obviously, it had not been checked prior to dispatch. It was a bit of a trial providing all the photo proof requested, on two separate occasions and all the email correspondence, but I can understand the need for verification. I did receive my refund quickly enough but didn't feel able at that stage to trust putting in for a replacement and went elsewhere. However, I did appreciate the speedy replies, with covering documents to return the item.

Ordered a granite kitchen sink, at first the order was “stuck in the system” but all sorted by customer service after I contacted them. Delivered on time and sink is very good quality.

The sink arrived without any kind of protective film. Scratched easily and was nowhere near value for money. Email has been sent but after three days I still have had no acknowledgment of my complaint. Very poor company.

Tap arrived promptly and was as described. Key feedback: There were no instructions provided to ensure that I correctly fitted the item. Since I am an engineer, I was able to figure this out. However, it may not be so easy for none like minded folks who may believe that they have to engage a plumber/handyperson to do this for them. This is eminently a suitable job for any able bodied householder/person.
