Researched a little bit online when I heard my 8 & 10 y/o grandchildren say they preferred silver or gold for Christmas gifts rather than toys or clothes. Smart kids thinking of the future. I looked at the variety of bars here and decided to try.. They loved their gifts and I was thrilled to give something of value. Purchased the 1 oz Liberty bell bars. Very nice.

There website does not give you payment instructions before the order is submitted. So, if you make a mistake on the payment type, rthey will not let you cancel it. If you do end up getting them to cancel it, they will try to charge you a restocking fee for items they never had to restock. I requested my order be cancelled within 30 minutes of placing it because I put the wrong payment type. They are now threatening to send me to collections for an item I never bought and they never shipped. I have put in a complaint with the BBB.

Been with SD for many years

SD Bullion is normally spot on! But this order of a one ounce .999 gold coin has been very disappointing. The coin dated 2024, with Donald Trump on the coin, indicated at all websites that it was a limited mintage. I inquired with SDB as to what the limited mintage was by the Scottsdale Mint and the first answer I received was there is no limit. the second answer only supported the first answer. I have asked for follow up on this as anyone purchasing paid spot plus. I also wanted to make sure that since this was a gift, with the intention of it being my son's first collectible that the information on the coin be accurate. My son is an avid fan of Trump and I want to let him be assured of the integrity of the coin. Unfortunately, the integrity of SDB has now hit a low with me and they will not respond to any further queries.
