TopCV is sending to all the same e-mail: Based on how the CV is phrased, you come across as a "doer," as opposed to an "achiever." Too many of your sentences are task-based rather than results-based.....

Templated and formulaic "advice", advice is mainly generic and eradiated (mention a team achievement and they'll call you a "doer and not an achiever"). Their business model relies on frightening their client base with condescension.

TopCV does very good marketing of their services and would lure you into paying them for using their services. However, they deliver a poor quality service in the end and will not be able to fulfill your requirements. I paid and bought the services to write a CV and cover letter for me. They assigned a CV writer named Morgan to me. I clearly articulated all my requirements to him and what I expect as results of ATS report from the new CV. He developed the draft CV which looked ok to me. I rectified and collaborated with him on the final output. Finally, I asked him to deliver the ATS report to me. The report showed my role as a junior person instead of a leader. I reached out to Morgan to rectify the same. Initially, he responded by telling me that he would help me fix the issue but after a few days, he stopped responding and never delivered the corrected CV. I would not recommend using TopCV services to anyone. They are expensive and deliver low-quality outputs which won't be able to meet your requirements. My advice is to go forward with some other service provider. The biggest blunder is the non-availability of a person to whom you can provide your feedback in the end about the services delivered. They simply vanish.

Be on top of it while you are working with the designated writer. Be as detailed and descriptive of what you can, it will benefit yourself and make it easier for them to help you.

It was Good .

Terrible! The first draft of the CV and the cover letter had spelling errors throughout - I gave up correcting them half-way through the CV. There was an inconsistent use of either British or American english - in one sentence the same word had been spelled firstly with a 'z' and secondly with an 's'! The draft CV looked practically identical to my original CV, just with the picture removed, single-spaced, and the font size reduced from 12 to 10. When I pointed these mistakes and inconsistencies out the writer complained that it had taken him two whole days to 'craft' the CV and to find 'buzzwords'. I asked for a refund after the first draft, as the CV and the cover letter were not carefully or skillfully written. I have not had a refund and the company did not contact me again - even though I sent them numerous emails - both to the 'writer' and the company's UK office. I also rang the phone number on their website - the phone was answered by a man in a call centre based in India who informed me that my 'concern would be reviewed'. I am still waiting for a reply. Do not use this company.
