It was obvious no thoughts or attention was put into making the CV. The first draft was literally almost exactly what I had provided to TOP CV as my own current CV, both in words and in format. On receiving the 1st draft, I gave my comment asking for it to be reworded if possible, expatiated and for the format to be changed. I was told I would get this within 2 business days which would be 16th November. I did not get it until 19th November and when I checked it, the only thing that was changed was the format (which did not even look professional by the way). I had also commented that I was a qualified solicitor and he put that just anywhere for the sake of adding it in. Everything else I commented on was ignored without telling me why and the CV wasn’t re-worded. Even the format still doesn’t look good. It literally feels like I was given back exactly what I sent in initially minus the format. The cover letter was also very short and basic but I just decided not to focus on that as the CV was more important to me. Service and delivery was 0 and a total waste of £129 which is a lot of money for such a subpar work. I have used the re-written CV for job applications since then and it seems I am even getting fewer turn around than when I was using my own written CV. Not impressed at all.

It's a scam website with uninterested employees. First they give you a free CV screening supposedly made by a person with the help of recruitment software, but no actual person goes through your CV, but it is instead an automated "feedback", which is clearly visible when it gives you nonsense sentences that were not in your CV. (You can see that only if your CV is formatted in such a way that the AI combines parts of unrelated sentences just because they're in the same row, but the supposed "person" giving you feedback comments on that sentence like it's a normal sentence, ignoring that it doesn't make any sense at all neither gramatically nor syntactically. If you're unlucky enough to send them a CV properly formatted for the AI, you'll get poor execution and wrongly filled in data used in a generic template, as well as unprofessional staff.

Unbelievably poor standard. Requested refund instantly on receiving first draft on 14th November. Not only because of overblown David Brent style verbiage but in rewriting original copy the Top CV author confused job descriptions with the wrong roles/companies. He even made a mess of 'Education' inserting "in" into degree: Top CV replaced 'B.A. Subject' with 'B.A. *in* Subject'. Laughable if one weren't paying top dollar up front. In my case £186: 3 X £62 via PayPal. I offered to take a hit on the initial £62 just to avoid the draining back and forth. But to no avail. Yesterday a week later they offered a 30% refund or a rewrite. £186 included cover letter and LinkedIn profile so not a refund at all given I only received CV and cover letter neither of which were of any use. Hard to fathom the good reviews on here in light of my own experience. Must be a huge disparity in quality among their copywriters. My advice to anyone considering Top CV is to use Fiverr where you are more likely to get a better result for a much lower price and can view what you're buying *before* releasing payment, i.e. "accept" on that platform. On Fiverr you can communicate with the individual writing the document before ordering as opposed to Top CV which in effect is a portal for what would appear to be a highly divergent group of authors. In that respect Top CV is no different to Fiverr only with Top CV you have no quality control, no idea of who will actually write the CV, yet pay far more. The brand name fosters the illusion that you're dealing with a group of specialist copywriters. Nothing could be further from the truth judging by my experience and there are many more negative reviews on other boards. Avoid.

I was very disappointed with the service I received from TopCV. The CV they wrote for me was unprofessional and poorly written. It was also clear that they had not taken the time to understand my experience and qualifications. I ended up using an AI to rewrite my CV and was much happier with the results. I would not recommend TopCV to anyone.

You guys tell the truth in black and white. Through you I discovered I don't have a CV, I have a composition of sentences. Now I know what a good CV entails.

Instead of promised tailored service I have received an AI-generated documents. Although they claim to have a professional CV-writers who are UK-based, they still provide US-English AI generated texts disregarding very detailed requests. You may get the same "successful" result via ChatGPT way too faster.. Instead of 24h examination of the claim, it took them 2 days to send me generic response ... I request an immediate refund which I’m entitled to since they’ve breached the contract..
