The product is good, but the blade grids needs to be replaced occasionally. The online site require a high minimal purchase for delivery, which forced me to buy more parts (ok for future use), and pay some more taxes. The delivery was fast and efficient.

I have read all the laudatory reviews and I certainly agree. I use the Alligator every day to cut an apple. And I have done so for many years. There is one thing though. The small plastic hooks that keep the container in place often break and the containers are expensive to replace, what with the price and the postage. My Clas Ohlson here in Visby used to sell spare parts but have ceased doing so a long time ago. Ulla Soederstroem

Having initially bought a plastic lookalike which was weak and ineffective, I lashed out and spent the extra money on an Alligator. It has proved to worth it. In particular, it makes cutting onions and garlic a fast, dry-eyed experience (even my husband who likes to cut with a sharp knife uses it!). The problem I have is that the onion needs to be cut reasonably small, otherwise it is too difficult for me to exert enough pressure to cut it. Also, being a little clumsy, I have some difficulties removing the plastic holder and sometimes empty the contents over the bench. Another arrangement for securing and removing the holder could help.

I have been using the Alligator products for over 14 years, can I say these would have to be the one and only reliable products to use. The chopper I have is the stainless steel, it saves so much time and so effortless to get the results. I compliment Alligator because I appreciate quality and value, Alligator ticks all the right boxes, I am surprised to see only 4.6 stars as average, I would rate them 10 stars. Please keep this quality going and send us updates on any new products please.

Brought their product a few years ago from a local hardware store and it worked just fine until I broke the cleaning grid which was my fault. Finally after digging around I found their website and ordered a few replacement cleaning grids (its only plastic) and they fitted perfectly. After the appropriate amount of time the order landed on my porch. (It's a bit of a haul from Sweden to my part of Canada). I also found out what the product line for this company is and I was really surprised. I think that down the road I will buy their all metal chopper,which looks amazing. Vince f time

I absolutely love my Alligator It's become a necessary tool in my kitchen and allows me to make soups and stews with ease. I've added new vegetables to my diet just because I wanted to try them in the Alligator. As I get older, I appreciate that the Alligator protects my fingers from being cut and my hands from being cramped.

I have used various brands thru many years, and they would break, or become dull very quickly! Then I brought the Kuradori chopper!! It is the ONLY one I recommend to my friends and family, as well as my students (I teach courses on prepping foods) I LOVE mine. The sharpness of the blades, the design of the catch screen makes clean up super easy! This will make you wonder how you have lived this long and NOT had this in your life!

I bought this chopper about 2 months ago. Fantastic at chopping all my vegetables. I have used it 5 times and right from the start I was disappointed with the way the extra deep collection box kept falling off and having to scrape the contents off the work top. On using it the other day I noticed that the collection box was cracked!! I have checked the internet for spares but there is none that would fit mine! So I am going to have to tape it up somehow.Its such a shame as the cutting mechanism is the best I have had.

I use this chopper almost every day. Makes great French fries. Our stainless steel version had a foot fall off and Alligator replaced it at no cost. Great service!!

Mathias Engdahl (the owner?) was very good about responding to my email inquiries about when the new stainless steel Alligator would be available. I received my stainless steel Alligator in January 2021 (the one with the larger plastic collection bin on top). It arrived VERY quickly from Sweden to California, USA (it took only 3-4 days via DHL). Compared to chopping everything by hand, using my Alligator has been a significant timesaver. I disassemble it and put all the parts in the dishwasher (I put any plastic parts in the upper racks). It is now April 2021, and I have decided that the Alligator is fine for making the occasional pico de gallo (or similar recipe), but for producing the daily giant salads that I make for my family (we consume a plant based vegan diet), I need a more commercial chopper. My complaints: ▪️even with the larger collection bin on my stainless steel Alligator, I have to remove the bin several times to empty it while chopping all the veggies and fruit that I put in our salads. During the three months I’ve owned my Alligator: ▪️a small side front rubber piece sheared off (within the first week); ▪️the collection bin cracked on one end; ▪️one of the rubber feet has come off; ▪️even though I check that the plastic tabs on the bin are properly seated between each and every chop before I depress the stainless steel top, the collection bin pops off periodically, which causes the contents to fall all over the counter; ▪️it is really noisy (it makes a loud bang with each chop so I wear hearing protection when I use it, just as I do when I operate any loud appliance). I think that the Alligator is fine for typical home use once or twice a week. For my plant based family who consumes giant salads as the main dish everyday, the Alligator is a significant help, but I am moving on to a more commercial chopper.
