Really helpful call and follow up email which fixed my PitPat charging issue easily. Ordered Velcro straps were great value and arrived very quickly. First class service and a first class product!

Quick and really helpful customer service staff. They tried to fix the problem and when that did not work offer me a discount on a replacement.

Our silly boy lost his collar, with his PitPat on it, in our garden. Much searching did not find it, so contacted a very helpful Lauren who organised a replacement for us, with some discount. The new PitPat arrived the next day. Well Done PitPat

So far this has been a good purchase. The only small issue I have is the awful mobile signal in my area which results in a dropped connection periodically. I called the Helpline when I suffered a prolonged disconnect, they were very helpful and resolved the issue with the unit became frozen. Another benefit is the no quibble return policy, after purchase of 42 days, which allows use of the Pitpat in your daily life to ensure it is the right product for you.

Too slow for me and the GPS facility isn't continuous so a moving dog, which is what escape artists do, is almost impossible to track. There isn't the facility to follow your walk on a map either, so you cannot see where the dog wanders off to. Finally, the distance is vastly over estimated. Because of the latter point it is impossible to adjust. Not at all what I was expecting. Will not be recommending.

I live on the Surrey/Sussex border and take our Welshie across farmland. One of the fields has corn that is 7ft high in some parts and when Sidney disappears into it we can't get a signal. Another part of the farmland where it's just flat we can so, like today, we tracked him successfully. If we could get a signal 100% of the time I'd give this 5 stars.

Signal is very hit and miss in my area but when the signal is good it works fine. Only issue is where we walk the dog is out of signal so fingers crossed.

Undecided for so long to buy or not, the sale price tipped the Ballance so purchased, my best buy in 10 years, should have purchased 6 years ago when we first had our dog.

Bought a pit pat as we have quite a naughty dog off the lead, so this would enable us to keep track of him if he wandered, unfortunately on the first night of receiving it, and setting it up, he chewed it up whilst it was charging, staff at put pat were very helpful and quick to replace it. Setting the device up is easy to do, and the new one now works great

The company seems transparent about what's on offer and I like the one-off purchase model. Although there is a subscription service on top of that, there isn't a lot of pushing you to purchase that.

PitPat has been exceptional when I have had dealings with them over replacing my device and with regards to insurance. The staff I have dealt with have processed the information quickly and courteously. Very impressed - well done.

When I got my assistance dog I bought a Pitpat tracker due to the size, it worked well for around six weeks and it just stopped being able to find a signal, I bought a second Pitpat and this one lasted maybe 3 weeks before just stopping working, I was told that the local mast was not working properly so this would have an affect on how well the Pitpat would or wouldn't work, 5 days later I contacted customer service and mentioned that the mast had been working for a few days, but the Pitpat was still no better, a replacement was sent free of charge, the replacement didn't last one walk, it stopped working after 86 minutes, no amount of charging etc made any difference. I had no knowledge about trackers before Pitpat and while they seemed to be getting less reliable the customer service had been quite good so I ordered another two Pitpats (they were on offer with around £30 off), the first one didn't last the first walk, the second one was better but broke, the plastic body where the velcro strap fits through had broken (I'd also noticed that the velcro straps that came with the tracker had very small loops and the fit with the harness was very poor) I changed these for straps from the makers of the harness, these held much better, but the plastic "loops" for the straps to thread through are just too weak and snap quite easily if knocked while the dog is playing, two Pitpats in two days were broken in this way, my dog is a beagle and a puppy at this time. This may appear cinicle, but the main difference between Pitpat and other trackers is that there is no subscription, once a tracker is sold there is little incentive to stop the tracker working to it's fullest for too long, my dog got through six Pitpats in six months, the first one lasted the longest by some margin, 3 later ones never made it to the end of the first walk, also she had two seasons in this time and so walks were on the lead for those two months and didn't break or stop working, still I refuse to knock the customer service, being able to speak with someone was a big help, such a shame that they had to work with something which could be made to work so much better without much effort being needed to improve the tracker, how it fastens to the dog, such a poor design, but so easily remedied at such little cost, the lack of accuracy is such a shame, other trackers costing much less are so much more accurate, but they have a subscription don't they! I would rather pay that little bit extra and have peace of mind than paying more than double for a tracker which might not even last the first walk and being unable to find my dog, as I said at the beginning, my dog is an assistance dog, I have her because I am disabled, she is so much more for me because of what she enables me to do each day, yes we all love our dogs for whatever reason, it doesn't matter what that reason is, keeping them safe is important, a tracker which doesn't do what it is supposed to do needs to be improved or taken off the market and all sold units recalled and fixed.
