Gave me a great valuation, after considerable assessment. I revisited today (Sat) to sell the jewellery, and both Claire & Pamela were just perfect! The most helpful & pleasant experience. I had a very negative experience with est1897. I purchased two gold bars, less than 7 grams in total, online. The order was flagged and they asked me to send them a copy of my passport, driving license, and selfie photo. I was shocked and confused by this request. I remember when I applied for a visa to visit the USA, all they need is a copy of my Passport. But when buying 6 grams of gold from Est1897 you must go through higher Security than the USA embassy itself. I feel like I have been picked on because this is my second time trying to buy from them with different PayPal accounts. i feel this was flagged by a human not computer as they claim so if you have a foreign name you wont stand a chance, I also mentioned that this is identity fraud and what they are asking is against the law. Their customer service is poor and they literally didn't care about your experience as a customer. I have waited over a day hoping to get an answer i have even asked to speak to some one in higher authority but they refuse to do so. I Advise everyone to AVOID doing business with est1897, they are not up to the marketing and business standard.

Ring was as shown in picture and delivery better than expected, given some of the comments. One thing to consider for future would be to offer resizing if ring is not correct size
