I visited my local H&T today, Kevjn was extremely helpful, offered me a good price and explained everything thoroughly to my satisfaction. If I ever wish to sell jewellery again or purchase euros I would definitely return to this store... customer service was excellent.

Brilliant service from Est1897. Saw a used watch on their website. They had it delivered to my local store, H&T pawnbrokers, who were also excellent and professional. I was able to view the watch before purchase. It was as new at a very reasonable price. Recommended.

I was really needed some cash and they were very quick and the day I went to repay and collect they were very helpful and fast. Definitely recommend them.

I recently went to Harvey & Thompson looking for a piece of jewellery, didn't see anything I liked but was given a card for there second hand jewellery site EST 1897. I placed an order , paid for it ( money taken immediately)got my order confirmed .Four days later received an email from them stating I had 48 hours to send them a photo of my photo driving license or passport and a selfie or my order would be cancelled . Called the freephone number for it not to answered then a London number calls me claiming the phones weren't working so they couldn't answer . After the woman spoke to her manager she confirmed this is their antifraud policy !! So to buy from them you have to give them your name , phone number , address , email , photographic ID and a picture of yourself to prove who you are !! After they have your money !!!! After cancelling the order I received 2 emails saying my money was refunded which it wasn't after a call to Harvey & Thompsons head office I was told it will take 5-7 working days to refund . All in all an absolute disgraceful service that's actual fraud policy sounds to me like what a fraud sale would ask for !!!

Delivered with care and efficiency

So I phoned up in the morning and asked a few questions so I decided to pop in and use this company, I walked in and was greeted instantly by Jane. She explained what would happen and how it would all work, we carried on and she started to do all the testing to make sure what we had was as it is, I then moved over to a young lady Monica who was doing all the paperwork for me. Both of the ladies were absolutely amazing and so so helpful it was an upsetting day due to the nature of it but they helped and kept a smile on their faces and made it a little but more easier for me. Jane and Monica are both a credit to the company and are so amazing with helping when your desperate and upset. Thank you both for all your help
