I settled on a beautiful Breitling Avenger 2, big and bold, absolutely A1 condition. The watch keeps perfect time, well within the parameters. So I got the watch I always wanted and at a fantastic price. I've took a big chance with a watch with no papers. But a watch is for wearing and it won't leave my wrist.

I purchased a second hand watch which was delivered broken so obviously hadn’t been checked properly before posting. That said the return and refund was as really quick and efficient so would consider buying from them again.

Visited the Sunderland branch and got served by Diane who was very pleasant and helpful. Well worth the visit.

A few days ago I reserved a relatively high value item for "View in store". My request was approved (09/06) through a separate email and confirmed by a customer service operator. The item was reserved for me. Yesterday morning (11/06) I noticed that the item's status changed from "reserved" to "sold out" and my viewing request shifted to "not available". I enquired this morning (12/06) about this change and the answer was that "unfortunately it has been sold in store". This is questionable unprofessional practice, not much else to add beyond the disappointment. My first observation is that I should have been contacted by the store, giving me the option to buy the item first - which I should have done. Secondly, the fact that a reserved item is sold to a third party without warning is a sign that very little trust can be put in this company. My warning here is that if you really want to trust these people, buy the item if you can. Do not reserve it, as the reservation is worthless. Ref ORDER 17029

Buying used items is never easy, but with Est1867 who use actual pictures and an honest description makes the decision to purchase an easy one…… especially as they offer 30 (or is it 60) days no quibble returns policy. More importantly, the pricing is extremely competitive and generally well below what is offered on ebay, Chrono etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again.

With reference to the Birkenhead Pyramids branch, I have always been very happy with the service offered by staff. They are kind, courteous and show a willingness to help. I have been a loyal customer with H&T for over 5 years now and I have recommended them to friends and family.

One of most best pawnshop in my experience over the years. They pay reasonable prices for my gold rings and watches. Much better than for example Ramsdens. And stuff is more friendly and professional than Ramsdens.
