Ordered online for our wedding anniversary. Was really late arriving and when we contacted customer services we found out that they were having trouble with a carrier. Up to this point the review would be only 2 stars but customer services shifted a bank holiday mountain to get our order to us. Well Done!!!!

I been using H & T for many years i was in Stratford in door market and i saw a gold chain in H & T what i was intrested in. I ask the blonde store manager and she said there is a que so i joined the que When i asked to see the chain it was a gold rope chain with a African map pendent at first i aak to see the pendent she said its not sold separate from the chain so i said how much is the whole thing together can I see the whole chain i was given many many excuses why i can't see it but it felt like they didn't trust me saying they were closing in half hour i said what's that got to do with it. Then they said they need 4 people in store to view it. i couldn't believe it. I know its a lie because ive brought gold in other stores with no problems Many others in the store viewed their items but i was refused with different excuses. I couldn't help noticing i was the only person of colour wanting to view an item and wearing my base ball hat i fell i was racially discriminated. They didnt even ask for id or anything just refused me. The black guy behind the counter who worked there seemed like a lost soul as he aloud the discrimination what an idiot. I contacted head office an they also was defending the staff even thought he didn't even look into anything. Was going on sounding like he was there . So between the blonde bimbo an the lost soul they both stopped a good sale for the company. £4200... i brought a chain now in hatton garden..Dont use H&T stratford racist blonde bimbo manager.

I offered to sell a 1 oz Britannia gold coin to Est1897 in Marlands, Southampton. At the time, gold was trading at £137X / oz in open market. I asked them how much they would pay for it. The answer was £88X, around 65% of the market price. Good price? A rip-off? You be the judge.

Good website, easy to order, competitively priced, quick deliver, securely wrapped and nice box, however size not as advertised, was u not y so didn’t fit, assume due to transcription error, hence the rating, however very apologetic, offered to send envelope to return ring, however already done this using original packaging. Prompt refund and will also refund return postage. Hey we all make mistakes but frustrating as was lovely ring.

Easy purchase

Wouldn’t use this company again. I brought a Rolex for my husband to be, and it arrived broken and with a damaged authenticity card. I was then sent an envelope to return the watch which was only insured up to 1/3 of the value of the watch (which meant if Royal Mail lost the watch, I would not be refunded the full amount). Despite sending for repair, a return was processed and I was refunded. However I was able to repurchase the Rolex online after 3 weeks. It’s arrived in working order, however the authenticity card is still damaged. Considering I purchased a really expensive item, the customer service was absolutely appalling. A totally stressful experience and I would never use this company again.
