The Fujifilm X100VI is not an easy camera to get hold of, with most retailers still quoting long wait times. So, when I decided to order one, I wasn't expecting to actually see the camera for quite a while. After placing my order with Clifton Cameras I contacted customer services to ask what the wait time was likely to be. They responded straight away, telling me that if I switched from a silver model to a black one, I should receive a unit much quicker. I agreed to change colour, and a few days later I received an email saying that my camera had been shipped! So, I went from expecting to wait months, to receiving my camera in just over a week. I then asked Clifton Cameras for advice about another camera I was considering for my daughter - again the response was quick and extremely helpful, so a second order with Clifton is definitely on the cards. I will definitely recommend Clifton Cameras to anyone looking to buy, or even just looking for advice.

Clifton Cameras organised an excellent Leica event today (11th) which featured Ethan Cooper from the Leica Mayfair store displaying a wide range of Leica cameras and lens. Ethan was extremely friendly, knowledgable and technically excellent. All in all it was a very enjoyable time spent. Well done.

Pre ordered the Nikon50ii online, advised when in stock with a final payment link. During payment we had a power cut, checked using the online chat that the payment had completed, all was confirmed and the camera was in my hand the following day via free delivery. Excellent service!

We saw they are holding product-specific days where customers can hold and try out a full range of products from one manufacturer at a time. We went to a Swarovski day, which was a real eye opener in our hunt for new binoculars. Troy could not have been more helpful in giving us tips and non-intrusive or pushy ideas and suggestions. Always a pleasure dealing with Clifton Cameras - on this occasion I placed an order for a lens which I knew wasn’t in stock (I was happy to wait) and was immediately contacted asking me if I’d seen the mint second-hand one they did have in stock. I have been shopping at Clifton Cameras for over 15 years and I never cease to be amazed by the friendliness and expertise of the staff. They never appear to be too busy for their customers, always have time for you and offer advice tailored to your needs, seeking to help you find exactly what you are looking for, rather than maximise their sales and profits. This is old-fashioned customer service at its very best. Nothing seems too much effort. Yesterday I visited their new(-ish) Cheltenham shop for the first time as I was in the area wanting to talk about investing in a new camera system. Access, just off the M5, is much easier than the old shop in Dursley and parking is effortless. My visit happened to coincide with the Black Friday Sony day, but no system was pushed and several members of staff gave helpful, independent advice. I must single out Jonathan and Craig who were immensely helpful, and when I decided to buy a new camera and lens the discounts offered were extraordinary. Is this the best camera shop in the UK? As camera was out of stock when I ordered it, I was expecting to wait a while for it, but they kept me informed as to when there stock came in. I received camera with in 10 days. So will be spending more monies with Cliftoncameras
