the sisool rug has been made to fit in an area of heavy use over a carpet. It appears to be very hard wearing and yet it looks good. It does travel when on carpet but a carpet gripper underneath from BandQ (£15) has stopped any movement. Looks smart

A great website that enabled me to design a rug that fitted my needs perfectly. What was particularly useful was the ability to keep various designs as favourites while I mulled over my options. I ordered three rugs with 'the natural rug store' online, via the rug configuration option, this was easy to navigate with many examples of the options available. I received samples as requested within two days. The customer service I received was very efficient. Delivery by DHL on time and delivered with a smile. 10/10. I have recommended and will use again.

From their willingness to send countless samples, to their helpful staff at the end of the telephone and finally to the arrival of the finished product exactly at the time that they promised, they were refreshingly efficient. I loved the apprearance and the feel of the rug online and when it was delivered, but within a day noticed strange light spots on it. Turns out you cannot put any furniture on the rug because its weave is so sensitive that any weight on it creates indentations / compression in the fibres that shine with white-ish colour against the light and make the rug look like you dribbled white yougurt or icecream all over it - basically, producing an unclean effect. You really don't want to have this look on a £400 rug! A shame. Really didn't expect it.
