Original Review: Great experience while I was there (polite/knowledgeable staff). However, the shirts were fairly expensive and the fit was average. I can find off-the-rack clothes that cost significantly less and fit the same so I do not believe the price/effort is worth it. Revision: After placing a 3/5 review here, the CEO personally contacted me and ensured my experience would be made right. I have never had a customer service experience like this. I am waiting to receive the revised shirts, but I have no reservations recommending Balani. Sure, the clothes are expensive, but the service you receive is unbelievable. I highly recommend!

Balani is okay. Customer experience with my rep has been mediocre. I've ordered ~25 shirts and they all come in different, even in the same batch (different fit, different collar, etc.). Suits fit well though. Shirts aren't worth it to go there with the online MTM companies now.

Complete customization, awesome selection, the book of patterns is outstanding, this is the place to go to if you are looking for a custom suit. Other tailors that try to upsell you or steer you in certain directions, not the case with Balani. The staff there ensures that you get exactly what you are looking for. Wonderful experience. David Tinter does a wonderful job finding the perfect pattern and look for the individual. He takes great pride in making the customer happy even after the initial purchase. There is not a better quality or experience in tailored clothing in NE Ohio.
