Ian Tattersall, the area manager for Geobear has been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and supportive in my rather unusual project to restore and stabilise an old stone built coach house. His sound advice has been incredibly helpful in choosing various options regarding two walls with significant cracks. This is not a straightforward modern building showing subsidence, but something which is 200 years old and has to be done correctly to maintain its heritage. Right from the start, the process has been straightforward from the initial assessment over the Internet to subsequent discussions on how to solve the problem At no time did I feel pressurised to proceed with the work until I was entirely happy with the solutions offered. I never felt that I was taking up too much time – mainly because Ian is a real enthusiast for his field work, particularly in old buildings. I am now at the stage where I am seeking a possible grant for this historical building before confirming with Ian. I cannot recommend this individual and company enough!

Razwan and I had a consultation regarding potential issues regarding the property. The consultation was free and was via an app similar to Teams. After consultation, I was given an honest advice that the concerns I had, had nothing to do with any subsidence of the property. It was helpful advice but great to meet honest tradesperson out there. Whilst no work was undertaken, I can certainly recommend Geobear for their honest and helpful guidance.

Eslam analysed the situation and advised that the issue was natural settlement over time as a result of installing a conservatory and not due to subsidence. I found Geobear to be professional from start to finish. Paul Cowen, an area manager, was very supportive, courteous and prompt in response. The team that undertook the geopolymer resin treatment on the day were most reliable, obviously very experienced, polite, pleasant and helpful; many thanks go to Luke (the qualified engineer overseeing the work), Lewis, Chelsea and Damiano. Geobear are accredited and provide a 10-year warranty. I take comfort that the 'Material has been tested and is evaluated to be stable for a minimum of 60 years.'
