I took my car to Audi Norwich (purchased from an independent dealer) for a £30 health check and was delighted with the service I received. Several major faults were diagnosed and as a result I am rejecting the car rather than paying a fortune to get it put right. Quite possible the best thirty quid I've ever spend...

Disappointing experience. Bought a used VW, received attention and any queries quickly dealt with prior to paying the deposit. Lost interest after it was paid and once they had the full money it became virtually impossible to reach the salesman. Still not got the paperwork that forms part of the VW used car scheme and no mot certificate 6 weeks on. Made an official complaint to head office and that’s been ignored. It’s the service I’d expect from a back street garage not a supposed main dealer where I’d have no doubt picked the same car up considerably cheaper.

Truly appalling service - pre sale is patchy at best but post sale is the worst I’ve experienced in over 20 years of buying brand new cars from premium brand dealerships. Nobody takes ownership of issues or has any genuine interest in helping the customer

From start to finish the service from Robinsons Volkswagen Peterborough and in particular Chris in the service team has been excellent. They listened to the problem i reported with the vehicle, diagnosed the issue and fixed it, keeping me up to date throughout. A true credit to the VW experience.

Recently purchased new golf ,traded exsisting vehicle ,and arranged to pick up new car at Heigham st.on Monday 26/7/21.at 12.45.So I cancelled my insurance on my car and transferred to the new one as of 26/7 ,took day off work ,and my wife rearranged her day. On arrival at Heigham st.reception had no record of us on their system,we were shown through to the sales area, and after some 20 minutes, sales person came over and was obviously not expecting us,.We were fed some unbelievable story about the I.t. System crashing, which was not really convincing .also we were informed our new vehicle was not on site ,but still with prep. This we found unbelievable,as if there had been a problem, why were we not contacted?,we were now in a position with no vehicle to use and a new pick up date.we found this whole situation, disgusting, unprofessional ,and unbelievable.

I have been a Robinsons customer for the last two cars I have bought. Never ever had an issue. But over the last year the attitude of the sales staff is all “you need us far more than we need you”. There is a definitive “attitude” with the sales staff and management. Everything seems like hassle to them, can’t be bothered with things not proactive and enthusiastic about a purchase. Leave you hanging. Don’t acknowledge you. I have no idea what’s changed as I can see I’m not the only person saying this type of thing. They don’t read enquiry content just reply with standard emails. The last email I got from a sales manager was flowered up with words but basically said ….. this is all I can be bothered to find you, go look on our website yourself. Come on guys you used to be top notch. Sort it out!

Like something from the 90's... Walk in with a immaculate Golf purchased new from Robinsons to trade in against an all-space (£35k ish) paying cash for the remainder after the trade in. Didn't have an EXACT individual car in mind so refused to give me a valuation and patronised me out the door. Felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman because I was in my gym gear and hadn't made a (Covid) appointment. Oh well, off the the online car supermarkets I go. May your cheap suited and gammon faced middle aged salesmen spend the rest of their dull careers in your company Robinsons.

I contacted Robinsons about a new car and the service was terrible, lack of knowledge, wrong information given and poor communications. Will never use again

Bought a car 7 months ago and the wheels have started corroding with what looks like white mould under the lacquer with no damage to them. The car is 4 years old and has done 39000 miles. The garage say it it due to stone chips that then cause the wheels to corrode under the lacquer. I can't see any stone chips on the wheels but obviously stones are going to hit the wheels when you drive the car so they are clearly fitting sub standard parts to their vehicles and taking no responsibility for it. The lunacy of not spending £100 to refurbish my wheels and provide good customer service is ridiculous as me potentially buying another car from them when my finance deal runs out is obviously worth a lot more money to them. Becomes very apparent how much harder it is to get hold of someone here once they have your money. On another note I was also advised that I would get 2 years MOT, service and warranty with the vehicle, what the salesman failed to mention is that this is MOT cover, this stipulates that you must MOT your vehicle with them but doesn't actually cover anything not covered by the warranty. This is very misleading and a way of making more money out of you to MOT your car with them. I expected a lot better from what I thought was a quality brand especially when paying a premium on the car to buy through a main dealer.
