Dear Readers,We are Devon Hoteliers and were recommended to this company by my brother, when we were planning our extended winter break to the Far East. Our flight is with Sri Lankan airline on the 7 th Jan 2024, but they seem to be either incompetent or have a skeleton ground staff, when booking flights and seats on their schedule flights. So when they changed our seats, which we paid extra for ,it was nearly impossible to contact them to correct this error. It took Travel Nation many weeks and an addition expense, which they kindly incurred to get our seating mistake corrected,for which we are most grateful. They went the extra mile for us,where perhaps other travel agents would not have and there persistence won through in the end. Whilst any airline can change seating arrangements at their discretion ,even if the client has paid extra for specific seats( this is covered in their terms and conditions) It is unforgivable for Sri Lankan Airline to take this action without informing us or Travel Nation and as said it took weeks to finally resolve it at the 11 th Hour. We understand that this airline are state owned and suffered considerable during the Covid years where many staff were layed off and the result has been their lack of communication and bad PR which is not conducive to productive business. I have therefore found the contact details of the CEO for Sri Lankan Airlines and will be bring this matter to his attention ,because we feel that they have treated us their clients with arrogance and contempt. Thanks to Travel Nation they were successful in resolving this matter to our satisfaction.

We booked a round the world ticket with Travel Nation, and were satisfied with the service. I think it was definitely worth it price-wise to go through them, rather than book independently. The staff was very available, reactive and friendly. On the down side, it is less convenient in terms of flexibility. Any change in tickets is quite pricey, as the fee to change is pretty high and you pay the difference in the ticket price on top of that. The reason I am giving 3 stars is that we were disappointed in terms of advice given when planning the trip and our destinations. We ended up changing the order of the countries to visit in South America after realising it made much more sense season/weather wise, which ended up adding quite a bit to the total price. We would have appreciated advice on that when booking, to avoid the additional costs.

We had a trip-of-a-lifetime, 5-week road-trip holiday to Australia. I have used Travel Nation several times before, and this time they did another great job, finding the most cost-effective Business Class flights and organizing all the hotels and a hire car. Chris, in particular, was so helpful, giving us useful alternatives, managing a couple of changes before we left, and sorting out a hotel booking problem on arrival at our stopover in Kuala Lumpur (someone at the Malaysia end had cancelled it!) We will definitely use Travel Nation again.

All the booking and arrangements made by David Taylor from Travel Nation were exceptional and the itinerary which he put together was perfect. The holiday exceeded our expectations on all levels especially the tours, excursions, hotels and flights. Absolutely everything was amazing about this once in a lifetime holiday to Singapore, New Zealand, Australia and Thailand. As it was planned so well by David right down to the very last fine details it made our holiday a fantastic and very memorable & wonderful experience. David was extremely helpful and gave valuable advise as he shared his own knowledge and experience of the destinations and tours for this type of holiday. Throughout the whole booking process he discussed everything at every stage and made changes to accommodate our budget and length of the holiday. We had an amazing holiday and a massive thanks to David at Travel Nation.

I used travel nation for my first solo travel trip and they were amazing! Adam was incredibly helpful and so efficient, he was really responsive and honest and gave good advice and recommendations for my travels. He managed to help me save so much money on flights but also made sure my they were all at convenient times and airports etc. All around a 10/10 experience with them!

Can’t fault them at all . Travelled from the Cook Islands to perth and Adelaide and then drove the great ocean road to Melbourne. Was meant to be going to cairns but everything got cancelled and they were absolutely brilliant in diverting me to Brisbane instead . Organised all the flights and the accommodation and the onward flight to Sydney . Thanks Clare and Chris for all your help . So pleased I booked through travel nation you’ve been an absolute pleasure to deal with and I’ll highly recommend you to everyone . When you need them they are really there to help. Around the world in 30 nights, everything came together superbly. Fantastic trip put together by Scott. Planes,trains,boats,Tuktuks,rickshaw,bicycle and loads more. Fantastic hotels, great food and little Rose!

My wife and I have just returned from a 45 day Round the World trip with Travel Nation (arranged by Ruth Koessel) and have nothing but admiration and thanks for a fantastic trip and great organisation pulling it all together. The instructions were: Singapore, Fiji, New Zealand (both Islands) self drive, San Francisco, New Jersey then home to England. Simple until I added in: I will be paying for Singapore separately (Credit card points). Hotels are for sleeping in only - clean, cheap and friendly not looking for 4 & 5 star. We will be staying with Son and his family in New Jersey. New Jersey must be one week including Thanksgiving and the holiday backtracked from that date. When we received the itinerary it was perfect and the price was on budget too. Flights, transfers and hotels all organised and ready for us as we travelled and we had a great time. All the places we visited were amazing but South Island New Zealand has got to be on everyone's Bucket List. Highly Recommend Travel Nation and thanks for the wonderful experience

Wir haben mit Travel Nation eine 8-monatige Weltreise durchgeführt. Die Planung wurde bei Travel Nation von Ruth Koessel übernommen. Alles war perfekt. Ruth war zu jeder Zeit ansprechbar. Die Reise war bis auf das kleinste Detail so geplant wie wir das vorher mit TN besprochen hatten. Die Hotels waren alle perfekt ausgesucht und das heißt bei 8 Monaten schon was. Wir können Travel Nation und vor allen Dingen Ruth für diese tolle Reise nur dankbar sein und würden jeder Zeit wieder eine Reise mit Travel Nation unternehnen.

Absolutely outstanding trip to Las Vegas, French Polynesia and San Francisco. Everything went so smoothly and no hassle from start to finish. I would highly recommend booking again with Andrea at Travel nation.

We have now used Travel Nation for TWO world trips, taking in some FOURTEEN locations in total, with all travel by aeroplane (apart from one train from Boston to New York City). The key thing is that Travel Nation listen intently to your location requests and specific trip requirements and use their vast experience to produce journeys that always seem to match these perfectly. This removes the need to figure this all out for yourself (and probably get it wrong anyway). I also love that the whole trip is ATOL protected! Our consultant on this occasion was Scott. What an absolute pleasure to work with. Endless patience to refine the trip iterations until you are 100% happy to give the green light. Then you just sit back and leave it with him. The next thing you hear is that it is all sorted! However they don’t just then drop it, they remain available for the entire trip if you have major issues , e.g. we had some queries whilst in the USA and Scott promptly responded to my emails, putting my mind at rest. Very important when you are thousands of miles from home. In closing, as I said we have circumnavigated the globe twice now with these guys and won’t hesitate to use them again when we go on World Trip #3. Keep up the good work guys.

Have been in a planning process for a trip to Japan with Claire at Travel Nation. Unfortunately our plans changed but the service at Travel Nation has been brilliant- what a great company! Would recommend

What a magical trip around mid-west states of the US. Several beautiful National and State parks visited including Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Monument Valley and Moab, Grand Canyon by foot and helicopter, white water rafting the Snake River, horse riding at a Vegas cowboy ranch and city exploring in Denver, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. The trip was organised superbly by Travelnation (David Taylor) and their US partners. We can honestly say we have seen and done things we would have never experienced had we tried to plan this ourselves. Thank you Travelnation!

We worked with Olly to come up with the perfect 3 week trip to Canada travelling through Quebec and Ontario. Everything worked brilliantly and when we did have a slight issue it was sorted quickly. All in all a great experience and would highly recommend Travel Nation

The accomodation selected reflected what we had asked for. Cocobelle bumgalow on Moorea was particularly nice albeit a little remote from anything other than the beach The agent's knowledge of the area helped a lot in tailoring our holidsy

Excellent agency with personal and friendly service. Deeply knowledgeable advisors, who will take time to help you to build Round The World itinerary ( David is extraordinary). Most importantly compare to bigger agencies you will have immediate point of contact if you have to change your plans during travels, its very reassuring to have a professional back up and support all the way.

This year my brother and I went on a Round the World trip for 5 months. We had Jim as our travel agent for the whole trip who is incredibly helpful, knowledgable and reliable. Jim was always available to help with any concerns we had before and during the trip. We went through South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South America and had the best time of our lives. We have no complaints about Travel Nation at all and would highly recommend. :)
