The courier was less than courteous. He left the boxes on the step even when my husband who is 79 came to the door. We expected 3 boxes but when he shouted the courier to enquire he said" Well I've only two boxes on it might come tomorrow " . Just not interested. We hadn't seen that 2 shelves were in one box. The shelves themselves are very sturdy and we are pleased with them. Easy to assemble.

delivery was good

I bought garage shelves for my garage and they are perfect for my needs and budget. Supplied fitting instructions were good and the youtube vidio was very helpful. I made the classic errors the instructions said not to do but at least I knew I had made them and corrected the mistake before going to far.

Ordering and delivery went well. All components were delivered. Construction fiddly at the outset but progressed well and very pleased with the result.

Generally happy with the product and it looks good (as good as racking can that is). My only slight niggle is the little feet you have to attach to the legs are very brittle and break easily. Flexible rubber feet would be better. Overall a good choice.

I chose Tufferman due to their good stock availability, next-day delivery option, and reasonable prices. I ordered a Storalex® SX200 1525mm shelving unit. DX Delivery arrived in an old British Heart Foundation van, with two drivers rummaging through parcels in a less than professional manner (throwing them around the van quite literally). Unsurprisingly, the melamine boards were dropped and arrived dented/marked. Having taken the day off to organise the garage, I purchased next day delivery, but upon opening the package, I discovered that the 1525mm shelving unit I ordered had somehow been replaced with a 300mm unit. How such a significant mistake could occur is baffling. When I called customer service, they acknowledged the error but informed me that a Saturday delivery wasn't possible. Instead, the correct order would be delivered the next working day - meaning I'd need to take more time off work to receive it. As this was my first order with Tufferman, the experience has been far from positive. While I hope they resolve the issue promptly, I don't think I'll be ordering again. The combination of poor delivery and the hassle caused by the error has been frustrating. Update 02/12 - Replacement shelf arrived, also damaged. Now have 2 faulty shelves.

Shelving product I ordered arrived on time and in excellent condition. Simple to construct, sturdy and excellent value for money. 1 minor criticism is the feet supplied for the racking frame is made of brittle plastic and snap easy. Perhaps a rubber type foot would be better. Overall very happy.

Absolutely terrible company to deal with, complained about the flimsy products and arranged a return, but wouldn't accept anything that has been assembled, had to pay own carriage to return and then they didn't refund as much as they should of. Don't buy anything from this company, unless your happy with overpriced inferior quality goods. Only got 1 star because you can't give 0 stars.

This was our second order from Tuffermann, and we are again delighted with our purchase. Great quality and easy to put together, our garage now looks great and we have confidence that our shelving will hold everything and anything we need it to. My only issue is with the delivery company, DX, Delivered Exactly, well not in my experience and both orders didn’t arrive as expected. DX are truly incompetent and you should look to use another company or offer options. But Tuffermann are great and I highly recommend buying from them if you need sturdy storage or racking solutions.

Totally recommend these shelves! I found it very easy to purchase online 2x HRX Heavy Duty Garage Shelving - 1770mm High - up to 600kg - Grey. They arrived quickly. Very good quality, strong. After putting them up, we were absolutely delighted with them.

The shelving units turned up on time I asked your driver if he would help me get them into my hallway as I was unable to lift them on my own he never hesitated I thanked him & off he went.

Ordering process was simple, delivery arrived on time. A bit worried at first as the packages looked small, however everything was well packed and all there. I ordered 3 bays, love them so much I’ve ordered 3 more, simple to put together once you get started. Very happy and my garage is transformed from a disaster zone to fully organised.

Avoid this company at all cost . I tried to purchase shelving over the phone but when giving card details I was told by a very unhelpful advisor that the transaction could not be completed because the card number did not match the postcode. This did not stop Tufferman trying to take the money from my bank. I made several payments with that card to other companies just before trying to order from Tufferman without a problem and went onto order shelving from another company after without a problem. After reading the reviews on here I feel I have had a lucky escape purchasing from this company.
