My brother and I ordered laptops from the company's website on December 16th, anticipating delays during the holiday season. However, we faced numerous setbacks, and a month and a half later, we were informed that our initial laptop choices were no longer being built. The company instructed us to choose alternative models and start the process anew. Upon contacting them, there seemed to be an improvement, and they assured us of no additional charges. However, the overall experience felt disheartening, almost like a scam. Despite considering leaving, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, with the intention of posting my final review after receiving our computers, hoping for a better outcome. Our computers finally arrived recently (ordered in November 2023, now February 2024), but the overall experience could have been better. Communication needs improvement, and keeping everything up to date on their laptops is crucial. I recommend selecting a computer from their website, confirming its availability with them, and then being patient if mishaps occur. It's important to note that they addressed the issue and explained it was a mistake, attributing it to a problem with ASUS, not a scam. I appreciate the clarification, and it's reassuring to know that the situation was rectified.

Build process was easy and fast with a lot of options.

Xotic website was so easy to navigate and it had the most information you needed on whatever item you were looking at. They made it easy for finance with direct access to the financial institution. The quick responses either via chat or email was outstanding! In addition, the status update of your order is like no other. Very happy how their customer service is and can’t wait to receive my pc.

I went through the shop app to purchase and there were no options to upgrade or modify. It was kind of lame to learn after the purchase the different configuration options. Oh well

Website is very easy to use and customer service is absolutely fantastic, they always get back to me very very quickly and are very friendly. Got my pre ordered Asus rog strix a bit late but that was due to the manufacturer and not anything the company did wrong. Was definitely worth the wait for a beautiful custom built laptop, I just received it yesterday and I'm very pleased! Overall a great experience with the company and I highly recommend them, I will definitely purchase from them again especially considering I have earned points to use for future orders

The sales web pages accept cards with different mailing addresses. Lots of people (me) have multiple addresses. Anyway after twiddling thumbs for 2 days, xotic pc cancelled my order because of the above which their sales page accepted. They have a right to any policy they like, but The first time they cancelled my order they did it silently. Hence wasting weeks of my life. There sales page could easily not accept cards with different mailing addresses, but no. I called to give a different card they would be happy with, no I have to completely start over, reconfiguring the system again. Zero help from sales or customer service, zero transparency when they silently cancel orders. Part 2. AFTER I used an alternate payment method, they cancelled my order AGAIN. No rational excuse.

So I want to give you five out of five but I can’t I have come up from 1 star but the issue is one week later I’m still having pc issues because of ram and honestly the tech building it should have known the trident ram and the msi mother board don’t get along and should have suggested the Corsair dominator instead which works well. The constant blue screens I’ve had and the fact that my water cooling does not seem to actually cool my pc as well as it should (I don’t think it even turns on) day one it was one but I have not seen it on or actually keep temps below 40°c since day 1

Ordering process was quick, and laptop I ordered from Xotic PC in late 2022 still runs like brand new today!
