Great support from certain team members but had some website issues where total price was not correct and was not honored. on top of this spent many hours to make order on a 4k+ laptop and i also plan to custom build a tower in the future.

Well, this is my first Xotic order, so I have no idea yet how this will go. I was looking for a laptop with the best specs that will allow me to play games and do audio production and video editing work that should last for at least 5-6 years before I picked the Sager laptop. I compared and contrasted their factory direct vs. Xotic's prices and services and found that for only a little more money I could get it through Xotic but it seemed to have a better customer service reputation (Sager doesn't have much of a reputation one way or another). I haven't bought a laptop in a long time, in fact, my last one I won through a competition, so getting a laptop from a place with a good reputation was important to me. When ordering on Mozilla Firefox, I couldn't get "Customize and Order" button to do anything. I refreshed over and over and tried a few other things to no avail. Eventually, I opened Microsoft Edge for the first time in months and was successfully able to use that button and finish the order.

My old gaming laptop (also from xotic pc) was out of order, so I contacted tech support and they are helpful in helping me to arrive at the conclusion that replacement is the way to go. When I ordered the replacement I needed to change payment option (see below) and the sales representative is helpful in clarifying and helping me navigate the process. With that said, the "cash discount" option is both misleading and not user friendly. First, the value shown on the webpage can be incorrect due to various caveats regarding cash discount. Second, there is no simple way to change payment option after the actual price to pay is computed other than to cancel and then place the order again. Third, the caveats dictate that the cash discount cannot be used in conjunction with discount code, but apparently it may still void whatever discount code you used, which I don't think is fair or what one would naturally expect. The website is easy to navigate and the payment options are useful

This is our family's 4th PC from XoticPC. Individual items are from top brands. Craftsmanship often leaves a lot to be desired. They've ignored the comments section on the 3 PCs and with a laptop, just isn't a lot you can change. Made specific requests that were ignored. One of those being NO Windows 11. Which they installed anyway. Found they had Win10 on it for Stress Testing, then upgraded to Win11 and removed the option to rollback the OS. Had to re-provision the system myself.

I was able to choose my laptop according to the specs I needed and XoticPC had a lot of options in helping me design a laptop according to what I wanted. With each available specfication, there was a price next to it so I knew exactly how much it would cost so there wouldn't be any surprises during the checkout process.
