Great service from Downlights direct. Items received as described & well packaged. Only down point - website clearly states free shipping for orders over £85. My order was double this but was charged over £16 for postage due to living in Scotland. I could not find this surcharge on the website and when queried was told that was the charge levied by the courier. I don't live in the back of beyond in fact we are well served by many courier companies but many like to levy these obscene charges. Scotland is still part of the UK!

The delivery term was a little longer, but it was mentioned in an email that Downlights Direct had sent to me. The package was impeccable; it was as new as it just left the factory. The goods are just like they were described on the website. So, if I am looking for something 'lightning', I'll consult the website of Downlights Direct.

Not the first time I've ordered from Downlights Direct, and after the great first experience, it was a no-brainer to use them again. Ease of ordering, on-line confirmation and continual updates as to the status of the order is just what the customer needs. Ordered Sunday night, and delivered on the Thursday. The great system used by their choice of courier allows you to 'track' the parcel on a 'map' and allows you to see what number parcel you are in the queue, where the driver is up to on his drop list, and almost minute by minute timings. No more wasting time on 7.30am to 5pm deliveries. Would totally recommend. Keep up the good work Guys and I'm sure to keep using your business to support mine.

As part of my bathroom refit I had set my heart on installing recessed downlights - ideally with LED bulbs. A quick online search brought me to Downlights Direct. The first page to load had exactly what I was looking for at a really good price. Delivery was quick and the lights were securely packaged. I haven't installed them yet but the quality of these items can be seen and felt and should give my bathroom a luxurious look. Downlights Direct will now be my 'go-to' source for all my domestic lighting needs. In fact, I already have my eye on another product!

Due to a change in plans by the customer I needed some low profile LED Downlighters quickly. Downlighters direct had what I was looking for at a good price. I placed the order for 22 downlighters, they quickly told me they did not have the stock to fulfil the order but they would be receiving more stock by Friday and would dispatch.( This was on a Monday ) Tuesday I phoned up and increased the order to 24. Again I was told that stock would not be arriving until Friday. Friday comes and the lights are in fitted and working, they delivered then earlier than they said. Fantastic service, one happy electrician one happy customer. Could not ask for a better service will use again and recommend to anyone looking for Downlighters.
