Using their website was really easy as it was in a logical layout and navigating was simple. Info button really helpful and the side panel with the cost breakdown a good idea. One thing to note was the stated price was only available if you bought in bulk. The company actively called me to confirm a question over my orders.....that was a nice touch. Will use them again.

I found the Downlights Direct website while looking for LED lamps and downlights to install in an extension being built to my house. I found the buying experience to be very simple and straight forward. I received excellent advice for the LED strip lights I wanted to install in the extension. The fact they cut and created the correct lengths for my installation was an added bonus. The products I have purchased are all new and as described on the website.

ordered 6 x downlighters with 6 x Megaman 6W dimmable LED GU10s. downlighters easy to install, bulbs brighter than expected.. Speedy delivery to Ireland. but at extra charge. Overall very satisfied.

Purchase a micro switching system which came which hands free swiching system this item was no good to me as its fitting method was not a screw lock but two wings which meant is sat very loose on the holder. Luckily enpough the old hands free switch still works the new Micro switch so it all works well.

I purchased some Aurora insulation coverable downlights to fit in my kitchen following reboarding and plastering the ceiling. I also ordered some Phillips LED bulbs to complete the instalation. It was only after placing my order that I realised the ceiling void was not deep enough to accomodate the model of downlight I had ordered so I emailed to ask if it was possible to change my order to the compact version of the light which is about 4cm shallower. No problem was the response and my order arrived within a week. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.

I thought the delivery charge of £5.95 was very high when I checked the invoice I found I had been charged VAT on it bringing the charge to£7.35 for an item weighing 4oz. Extortionate
