Do NOT buy from this company. CW Sellors / Jura operates a policy where they regularly claim customers have damaged an item in order to decline to refund (in blatant contravention of the distance selling laws). What happened to me happened to at least 17 other people in the last year! I have found 17 examples of customer reviews listed on Trustpilot alone, where they have used the same ruse - and goodness knows how many people there are who don't write reviews. The customer returns a watch they have either tried on, or in some cases not even taken out of the box. CW Sellors then claim the watch is worn/scratched and refuse to refund. This is what happened to me. They claim I damaged a watch I tried on for a few seconds! They have sent me a photo of a watch so severely scratched someone must have taken a sharp implement to it! My 40 year old fairly beaten up dive watch has less scratches and I've been wearing that for years, not just a few seconds. Sadly I didn't check the reviews before buying. I'm now in dispute with the CW Sellors through my credit card company. Don't risk it. Buy from someone else! Update: As a response to CW Sellors - no you have not provided evidence that the watch you sent to me was in perfect condition. There is one photograph of a scratched watch and there is in fact NO evidence that it is the same watch as the one sent to me. Furthermore, it is NOT possible for me to have caused that damage to a watch, not even by accident. The scratches are deep and look intentional. Slipping a watch onto a wrist, in the same way one would do in a shop, then returning it to the box does not cause damage. I find it interesting that CW Sellors have somehow managed to have at least 17 instances of customers scratching watches prior to return this year alone. What an astonishing coincidence! Other shoppers - you have been warned!!! By the way, I have 7 watches. None of them are scratched like watch in the picture you sent to me. Not even my 40 year old dive watch nor my 25 year old dive watch one of my sons wore for a few years as a teenager. That is NOT normal wear and could not be caused accidentally. I reiterate I did not damage the watch and had no motive to do. I was returning it to you so what motive could I possibly have? I have a witness to the fact that I tried it on and returned it to the box. I have another who saw it in the box and both can confirm that the manufacturer's plastic protective covering was still on the watch when I returned it to you. The picture of the watch you sent has no protective covering on. Why would any jeweller planning to sell a watch remove that? As I said at the beginning of this review - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Between the 3 listings : CW Sellors; Cwsellors and Jura (all the same company) there are 99 pages of 1 star reviews. Mostly relating to their reluctance to refund customers!

I ordered a Gucci necklace and a few days later, was informed that the necklace was not in stock and would take a few weeks to arrive. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but weeks turned into over a month with no response from them. In the end, I had to email them multiple times to find out the status of my order. It was worrying and I thought I'd been scammed. I eventually managed go cancel the order but I didn't like how they handled things at all. They should remove items not in stock from their website, I had such a waste of time and no necklace at the end of it all.

I purchased some Georg Jenson earrings, recieved an email 2 days after to say they needed to order direct from the manufacturer. I could have done that myself for the same price but assumed purchasing in UK would have been quicker. Seems from some of the reviews CW Sellors model is to take orders and place an onward order to the manufacturer. I cancelled on the phone and was told 7 days for refund and would get a confirmation email. I didnt get a confirmation email and called back to be told allow 14 days. 14 days is what is quoted deep in the terms. So beware, I have no knowledge of the quality but here's my experience of the service. Wonder how much interest they make on holding onto payments for 2 weeks?

I ordered a watch from CW Sellors on 2 June and paid in full using credit card. I was given a delivery delay of 1 to 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I had not received the watch and contacted the Jeweller and was told the watch would not arrive for another 1 to 2 weeks. As the watch was a present and needed soon, I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. I was told by customer service the refund would take 7 to 10 days. It is now 14 days since cancellation of the order and still no refund. I contacted the jeweller's customer service who were able to confirm that the refund had not happened and they were unable to say when the refund would be made. My advice to anyone thinking of buying from C W Sellors Jewellers is to beware.

I purchased a watch from this company. And sent back the next day, they confirmed return and I asked when refund would be refunded. They said 5 -7 working days excellent. I've waited nearly 2 weeks and still not received my deposit payment. So I rang this morning spoke to a manager it's been cancelled at the jewellers store today got confirmation etc. Now been told I've got to wait at least 5 days for payment from the finance company. Rang CW jewellers and spoke to the manager again and I'm still not happy with the service given. she said she would be happy to discount on a different watch. Why would I want to do that after this shocking mess. PS the person who took my first call has left and has not sent it through to cancel. And has left the company sorry you can't blame that person , sorry as a manager you should be doing better for customers . I asked for this terrible experience that I would consider a free watch for the inconvenience of the shocking experience and the manager decided. Very good customer service.

I recently purchased a Longines watch for my now husband as a wedding day gift. I was cautious about purchasing a valuable item online however I didn’t need to worry as I contacted C W Sellors and had fantastic customer service from Harriet who answered all my questions efficiently and raised the order for me. I was lucky enough to have a great discount but this did not deter the exceptional customer service from Harriet. My husband loved his gift. Thank you for all of your help. I purchased a watch online from this company, upon receiving the Tissot seastar 1000 I did not like it and immediately returned it to them for a full refund or exchange . After a few days I received an email saying that the watch bracelet had multiple scratches therefore they will not refund the full amount.after many many phones and emails they agreed to refund £435.00 instead of £615.00. upon my request they returned the bracelet,I have examined the bracelet very very carefully and found not a single scratch on it.there are no damage to the bracelet whatsoever , I have not known any company with such attitude, I only had the watch for less then 10 minutes before sending it back to them . I ended up with a bracelet that worth no more then £30.00 and I don't need it either . I am now out of pocket by £180.00 ( they said the deduction was for the bracelet which is made of tin ) ! This i believe is very very unfair and a cunning way of taking money from customer. Please note that I am a retired person , I would never write a negative comment like this unless I am certain that the other party is at fault or in a serious misunderstanding/ mismanagement, again there is no damage to the bracelet of any kind. Thank you.

The bracelet I ordered took almost five months to arrive after chasing it up. When it arrived it was shorter than advertised so I returned it. I was told I would be informed about how long a replacement would take I heard nothing for two weeks so decided to cancel the order.

Ordered a watch online from Whitby Jet Store which is actually CW Sellors online. They took payment immediately and the website said it would be dispatched and delivered within 48 hours. After 48 hours I heard nothing so I emailed - no response. I called and they said they would look into whether or not they had the item in stock and call me back. No call back. I called again the next day and they told me that they didn’t actually have the item. I questioned why they had taken the payment and why they were advertising an item they didn’t have but they could only apologise. I asked for a refund and was told it would take up to 10 working days to process. After 7 working days I called to ensure that it was definitely in progress and they said it was and would take 7-10 days and that I would get notification when it was processed. On the 10th day I didn’t have it so I emailed to say I would like to see their complaints policy was and they emailed back to say that my refund was processed 30mins ago and that I should get notification (I didn’t). Overall I was charged for an item that didn’t exist and I only found out that was the case because I chased it and then had to chase the refund too.
