Sarah Macintyre provided a very accurate desktop valuation and right from the start she was very helpful and friendly, providing excellent advice about marketing the flat. The whole process ran very smoothly, including preparing the flat to go on the market, which included a few repairs and complete redecoration. The upgrades were very well organised by Ashleigh Love, who did a great job ensuring that contractors delivered results in a very short time frame. During my initial interactions with this company a few years ago, I had an unpleasant experience. When they acquired GSB properties and took over, I was apprehensive. I understand that any integration can be challenging, and the accounts department understandably faced difficulties with the information provided. Unfortunately, the property I rented was to be sold by the landlord, and I found another one but then a problem arose. Hannah from the lettings team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and customer service. She assisted me in finding a new property after I had been let down by the another company. Her calm and professional demeanor, combined with her empathy and genuine desire to help me in a stressful situation, made it feel as though she was personally invested in resolving my difficulties. While I cannot reward her with more than five stars, her exceptional service transformed a very stressful situation into a manageable one. I believe that D.J. Alexander is fortunate to have such a valuable employee, and I would strongly advocate for her continued presence within the company. If she left in the future then the company would be losing someone who really makes a difference.

We are currently renting from DJ Alexander for the past 1,5 years and now unfortunately, need to look for a new property as our landlords are selling the flat we are currently living in. We are very happy with the agency, the maintenance team was always very nice and helpful and if there were any problems or delays it was never because of them, but 3rd party contractors etc... Even today, when I called to book a viewing Hannah B was a great help, she understood our situation and kindly helped us with booking a new flat viewing. Thank you!

Took over the letting agency my landlord used, TayLetting, read reviews to see they are buying up small agents. Then they shared personal data with contractors without permission. But worse, they are utterly hopeless at managing shared services at the property. The final straw is a schedule of charges - no other agent makes in my experience- including an automated reference, 3 questions £30. Scammers exploiting tenants at every opportunity.

Elaine was really helpful throughout the application process and answered all our questions promptly. She made moving into our new flat stress-free. Highly recommend!
