He arrived on the early end of the time window, allowing me to go about the rest of my day without having to wait for the inspection. Oliver was very respectful, and took my minor concerns seriously, making notes and taking photos. The inspection was thorough, and yet did not feel invasive.

I've never encountered such outstanding service in the real estate industry before. DJ Alexander is truly fortunate to have an employee like Robyn on their team.

They have a poor reputation for a reason. Rude, dismissive and unprofessional. In all my dealings with this company, none have been pleasant and my dealings with one in particular, have been poor. Haven't completed repairs, don't replace like for like and intimidate you if you attempt to make a complaint. Distopian and a scum landlord. READ reviews from RENTERS before entering a contract. UPDATE: Given my reply, apparently DJ Alexander has a Customer Service Department, who'd have thunk it 😂

I am a landlord based in London with a flat in Edinburgh that DJ Alexander are managing. Norman MacLean, their maintenance coordinator, has been incredibly helpful in dealing with a very difficult contractor following a leak in the flat. He has done his utmost to support me in what has been a stressful situation involving unexpected costs. I really appreciate all his efforts to try and resolve the problem, with good communication and a friendly manner.

It’s disappointing that to write this review I have had to give them a star at all! DJ Alexander have to be the worst letting agency in Scotland and their checkout team in particular, the most unprofessional and least competent by a country mile. Mine has been a disgraceful and genuinely shocking end of tenancy experience. I am (was) a landlord of a single properly. It has just been vacated and has been left in an appalling state by the tenants. Absolutely filthy with an appallingly neglected, overgrown & rubbish strewn private garden area, and a whole spectrum of damage to the interior fabric of the flat, including through unapproved installations by the tenant (some of which they’ve just left in place presumably to try and disguise the damage to plasterwork and tiling if removed). I can only assume that DJ Alexander’s property inspector didn’t actually attend the flat in person for the check out inspection and / or paid zero heed to the terms of the PRA and the schedule of condition in so doing. This team is quite genuinely dangerously incompetent, such is the level of complete oblivion with which they have approached their obligations at tenancy end. If you are a landlord be aware that this letting agency does nothing to actually earn their fees - they are unconcerned with ensuring that a tenant abides by the PRA terms and as for upholding the value in, and purpose of, forking out for a record of condition at tenancy outset - forget it. I did., but DJ Alexander haven’t actually bothered to measure the checkout condition of my fiat against it. As can be said about every aspect of my relationship with this shower, every penny paid to them has been money for absolutely nothing. Oh, and they’ll pass you all round the houses too when you phone, and refuse to give you access to your own keys too. Heaven forbid they should actually offer meaningful service. I cannot stress this enough - avoid, avoid, avoid this letting agent at all costs. Unhelpful, unprofessional and incompetent, they are nothing but a deeply unpleasant stain on the Scottish property sector.

The freezer in my flat doesn't work and I contacted the Property Relationship Manager: Dora Alves, who helped solve this issue immediately. It was a really good experience!
