Natalia showed us the flat and was so lovely, and we spoke to Gill on the phone with any questions which she was always happy to answer. Very prompt emails and straightforward communication!

I haven't moved into the property yet, but worked with Chloe Mitchell from the application to everything in preparation of the move in (reference checks, signing lease, paying move in money etc) and she was super super helpful! Prompt email replies, always picked up the phone, and very patient with (probably too many) emails with questions and confirming things went through correctly. I would highly recommend Chloe to anyone, her patience and knowledge made the process very stress-free and manageable despite the inherent stress of finding a new flat.

Recently had a viewing for a flat to rent. Found the process to be straightforward. Gemma-Louise from DJ Alexander was very friendly and offered to help with searching for other properties. There was was a slight issue with emailing the application automatically, but Gemma-Louise made sure we received an application form. The market is very busy but found it to be easier to look with DJ Alexander compared with some other companies. Although unsuccessful with the property, I'll certainly use them again to look.

I was asked to leave a VIEWING review so here we go! You asked so I'll deliver. Nothing I have to say will differ from others with bad experiences. I believe the corruption and shift behaviour of DJ Alexander runs deep into company culture and may not necessarily be any one letting agent's fault. To this end, I had a viewing recently with a Gemma-Louise and she was kind and informative. However, she outright lied to us about the heating situation in the flat as soon as we walked in, claiming that heating was not on despite a very toasty flat, only for me to touch the heater and feel its conduction. Definitely not trying to embarrass her personally but I blame the shift sales tactics at people drinking coffee at their warm office. If you want tenants, start by being straightforward and honest. It goes without saying that after viewing the flat I learned EPC rating is a minimum E. Shame. Never going to let from them.

We are students and just moved to a new flat, and it has been a very refreshing and different experience than we have had in the past with agencies. Our letting agent is Caroline Connelly and I am yet to meet a more friendly and caring agent than she has been. She had the whole place cleaned and furniture changed before we moved in and was just great support throughout the whole process. We feel very comfortable contacting her for anything and she has made us feel very welcome in our new home. The application process from their end was very quick and we were being communicated to every step of the way. We were able to get the move in date to work for our timeline and it took off a lot of the stress that we had from the process of moving which was extremely helpful. Overall, we are very happy with DJ Alexander so far thanks to Caroline.

I went to see a property today and I was received at the flat by Finn Anthony who was very nice, he showed me around, and answered all my questions. The online system to book the viewing was quite straitforward, although sometimes is hard to find many options available. But since it is my first experience renting in Glasgow, I have to say it is very good so far.

We recently moved into a flat with DJA. The process was fast-tracked by the landlord so things were slightly more chaotic than I suspect the agency is used to, but we got the keys within 5 days of viewing the property which was impressive. There were a few breakdowns in communication but I’d put that down to the speed at which the agreement was being organised at. Everyone was kind and respectful which we appreciated. Kieran was the agent working with us, he was helpful throughout the process and continues to be now that we’re in the property. We have high hopes for our tenancy with DJA

I had a very good experience with DJ Alexander in arranging a flat for renting. Both Zosia Mlynska (agent that showed me the property) and Gill Robertson-Cree (the Application Advisor) were very professional, helpful and clear during the entire process, which made it much less stressful.

Caroline went above and beyond to make sure my experience finding and moving into a new home ran as smoothly as possible, something I appreciated very much! Everyone at DJ Alexander I interacted with was extremely pleasant and professional. It would be great to have an emergency/out-of-hours phone line in some situations though!
