I bought a Grade C Surface Pro 6. Delivery was very quick, and I can't fault the product, only a few light scuffs to the back. Only problem I encountered was that I had to set secure boot myself, and a bit of Powershell poking around to get the Windows taskbar to appear, but that was trivial. Will definitely look at Tier 1 for future purchases.

Make everything straightforward and simple. Goods turn up when advised. Items work so what more could you ask

Ordered a refurbished laptop with an upgrade of a 500gb ssd. I was not expecting showroom condition but was so disappointed with the product I received. The base of the laptop was not screwed on and so kept coming off. The battery cover would not lock. The 500gb ssd had been fitted but was not installed correctly so could not find it. The battery would not charge and in the bios stated the charger and wattage could not be verified. I know it was a pre-owned laptop but for the money I paid I expected a machine that worked. Obviously it had not been checked or tested before dispatch. I was offered an unacceptable alternative which I refused and requested a refund. I inally got the refund which took several days longer to receive than I was led to believe.

The item bought failed on testing, but the company offered me a higher spec machine for the same price, and then delivered a day later. Very impressed with this company, excellent communications.

Great Customer Service ! I bought a PC from tier 1 last year and when the power cable stopped working this week my heart sank as I couldn't find my order details etc ! Anyway no need to worry - I got on the online chat , gave a few details and they located my order and sent out a new power cable no hassle , will definitely use them again in the future

I've bought many laptops from Tier1. Like the previous orders, this one was quick and easy, the machine arrived when it was supposed to; and it was as described. I honestly cannot remember if I have ever had a problem with a laptop I've bought from Tier1; clearly, if I ever had had a problem, it was resolved quickly and with minimal fuss.

The laptop I ordered, despite being "Grade B" was in good condition - unblemished screen and keyboard, reasonable battery condition, some minor scuffs and, weirdly, a few bits of dirt that washed off. Having registered for the newsletter was initially bombarded with e-mails to buy. Having bought, the order status didn't change for several days and there are discrepancies between the website text, terms and conditions and order confirmation e-mail on delivery times. I received no answer from customer services to my query about this, though the laptop turned up within 5 working days. I was then, again, bombarded with requests for reviews. So far happy with product, but the lack of response from customer service makes me nervous about future support: communication is not a one-way process.
