I've just received my macbook pro. It looks like brand new machine. It had a tiny scratch. I called up Tier 1 to check about this & they confirmed hardly visible. The customer service is great. Totally recommend. DPD delivery on time. Good packaging.

This is my second laptop purchase from Tier1 and the second success... Both laptops exactly as specified and described and working straight out of the box. The ONLY reason they only get 4 stars was down to the delivery company... The delivery was super speedy and this was the week before Christmas! But imagine leaving a laptop delivery box on a doorstep next to a public pathway... Totally inexcusable by DPD. Of course there is no complaint procedure for DPD! It was a miracle it wasn't pinched... Thankful for that, and otherwise can't fault Tier1 themselves apart from their choice of delivery company...

Quick and swift service. Really really with the computer. Would have been 5 stars but sent a VGA lead instead of display port lead so had to go out and buy one.

We frequently buy from Tier1. Normally in the past they have been good. But recently we have been getting laptops that have clearly not been fully checked before dispatch. We have now had several laptops delivered to us with loose case screws. Had we not noticed and tightened them, they would eventually have come completely loose and dropped out, also they leave the laptop weakened because the screws form part of its strength, particularly around the hinges. So - advice: Please check your final inspection procedures !

Great value laptop, arrived on time in bomb-proof packaging. It was grade B, but i couldnt find a mark on it. Second one I've bought from Tier 1, and it won't be the last, I suspect.

Good value for money

Have had a few laptops from these guys now over the years and can't speak highly enough of them - service is first class, delivery and packing excellent and very safe and secure, prices are great (in particular when on sale....) and the machines are (to my inexpert eye) in very, very good condition indeed and work perfectly. Couldn't care less about the environmental side of it - this is just good business sense and there is no reason to look elsewhere, I think.
