Harun Hussain came to measure for our new blinds and he also fitted them this morning. His measurements were spot on and he fitted all three blinds securely. He was helpful and pleasant making the whole experience stress free.

I have had an extremely poor experience with Hillarys. We recently got pleated blinds fitted to 6 large windows in our home. We asked our sales rep for blackout blinds and these were recommended. We were not warned about the amount of light that we would still get with these. We also have safety concerns with the cords and our toddler. The cords for our blinds are extremely long, nobody told us this would be the case. Making it safe for him means our blinds have to be down all the time otherwise we have extremely long cords which we need to wrap up high and we can't alter the blinds easily. I had a video call with a member of staff who agreed our blinds were not fit for purpose. He sent the fitter back out for us to choose alternative blinds that would be more suitable - which we did. Then today I had a call handler bluntly tell me that they looked at the photos of our blinds and would be taking our issues no further. I was told "you can see the holes on the website". We ordered them directly through a sales rep who came to our home, we didn't think we had to double check his recommendations. I was informed I wouldn't be able to speak to a manager directly and that I would just have to email, but id be told the same thing. No care or interest into resolving the issue or in customer satisfaction. They'll sell you ££££ blinds, however, if there are issues, they're not interested. Which going by other reviews I've now read, is a recurring theme. We used Blinds Direct for some of our smaller windows in the house and wish we had just used them for them all. They've been excellent.
