Efficient and tidy

Started well with the rep (Charlene) calling at agreed timeslot, offered a good selection of colours and priced the job. The price was very reasonable and we accepted. The surveyor (Aurimas) also arrived at the agreed timeslot and gave us a fitting date. A few days before the fitting date a courier delivered a 5mtr long tube to us which we supposed was the blind. We were not warned of this delivery and it was lucky that we we in because the driver would probably have left it out in the rain. Aurimas arrived at the arranged time and discovered that there should have been another box delivered, either to his lock up or to us with the rail. He decided to try to get the work started by installing the support rail, only to find that the wall brackets were not with the rail but in the missing box. As it was too late to do anything more that day he packed everything away, with the intention of checking his lockup for the following day's delivery. It wasn't on it and nobody at Hilarys seemed to know where it was. I phoned the call centre every day and they promised to investigate and call me back with any update - nobody called back. After four days Aurimas called to tell me that the box had arrived at his lockup and he would be back on Tuesday to do the fit. He turned up as promised and had it fitted in no time. He did a great job and we are very pleased with it. The blind looks great and Charlene and Aurimas were very helpful and pleasant. They did a great job, let down by people sitting in a office, on the end of a phone, not bothering to advise me, the customer, of the initial delivery or what was being done about the missing parts. If you promise to phone back, then phone back!

I had six blinds fitted today by Paul Monaghan 119949. Paul did an absolutely fantastic job and the blinds have made a big difference to the look of the house.

We were happy with the blinds. They were fitted on the date as planned, and our fitter was helpful and pleasant.

I am delighted with my lovely new roller blind ! It has transformed my sitting room. Spencer ( Maltings 116052) was informative, friendly, cheerful, and very efficient. I would definitely recommend him to anyone , and he deserves five stars!

Marrion SP Andrew was my advisor and he was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had no idea about different styles of curtains so he showed me examples and allowed me to look through swatches without pressure and helped me narrow down my choices. A very pleasant experience overall, thank you!

Great work by Trevor advisor no.215050, very knowledgeable and professional, clearly knows his stuff. Trevor fitted two sets of Hillarys Curtains in our lounge and study, all done with a minimum of fuss and bother, all very neat and tidy. We had our blinds fitted today and are VERY happy with the final product! Our only gripe has been the general lack of communication the business seems to have. A salesperson came to our property, talked us through our options, we were given a quote and then we paid after choosing the blinds we wanted. Then we had a meeting with the fitter where it was debated whether or not we could have the blinds system we chose and had already paid for which was frustrating but it turned out well could have our original choice in the end. On the day of our actual fitting, once installed, they weren't fitted as we'd expected and it turned out the blinds didn't work as the salesperson had communicated to us which again was frustrating. We're happy the final results and final product but the road has been bumpy.
