Take no responsibility for breaking my son's pram,no customer service just a cut and paste reply. They don't care at all better to fly proper airlines like Emirates and Singapore

Etihad can no longer be considered a serious airline with excellent customer service. That is the conclusion I have come to after 2 weeks of broken promises. Most recently, I was promised that a manager would call me back on 30 April. I waited a week. Nothing. Today, on the 7 May, I spoke to their representatives twice. On both occasions they promised that a manager would call within an hour. 4 hours later.... nothing. Etihad have cancelled our flights and booked my family on flights days later. I'm not making any demands, just trying to find a better solution, but there's no one to speak to. How is that acceptable? They are making a mockery of customers with this pretence at service.

Etihad damaged my luggage. After the agreement for the compensation, they refused to pay money. It has been almost 4 months—the worst airline company.

Es ist mit meiner Aussage nur der Rückflug beschrieben: Das Flugzeug von Abu Dhabi nach München! Abflug gegen 2:30 nachts! Durch das Warten vor dem Einlass, waren wir schon unterkühlt!Die Plätze schienen alle ausgebucht in de EconomyClass! Es herrschte auch im Flugzeug eine unangenehme kalte Atmosphäre! Nach ca 2 Stunden wurde kaltes Wasser serviert, eine Weile später das Essen, mein vegetarisches Essen bestand aus einem übersüssten lauwarmer Fruchtbrei, meine Frage nach meinem bestellten veg.Essen wurde beantwortet mit, dies sei ein vegetarisches Menü! Ich gab es zurück! Mittlerweile war ich so ausgefroren, dass ich um eine weitere Decke gebeten habe! Diese kam nie!!! In der Nähe der Toiletten zu sitzen, war deshalb interessant, wieviele Leute diese benutzten, der Fußbodenbelag war glitschig, nicht ein einziges Mal schaute eine Flugbegleiterin sich die Toiletten an! Jeder Leser kann selbst sein eigenes Urteil fällen! Meine Beurteilung: Nie wieder! Seit 3 Wochen liege ich mit einer schweren Erkältung im Bett!

ho acquistato 2 posti comodi per le gambe sul volo phuket -abu dabhi pagandoli € 54.90 ciascuno, il bello che erano INESISTENTI loro dicono per cambio aeromobile ma non è vero ho tutto registrato e fotografato mi hanno fatto procedere lo stesso e il bello che non mi hanno dato nemmeno quello numerato sulla carta d'imbarco che avevo fatto nel check-in on line ma un posto in fondo. E' un mese che scrivo e attendo il rimborso ma rispondono che devono effettuare i loro controlli veramente compagnia poco seria e inaffidabile.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Etihad Airways. After booking a flight to India for May 7th with a return on May 20th, unforeseen circumstances required me to attempt a cancellation just seven hours later, well within the commonly assumed 24-hour grace period. Despite this, customer service was unhelpful and inflexible. The initial representative, Aleka, and subsequently the supervisor, stated that 'what you booked is booked' and insisted that the system prevented any changes, leading to a shocking $1,200 cancellation fee. Moreover, when I inquired about changing the flights instead of cancelling, I was informed that it would cost an additional $200 per ticket, totaling $800, without the option to receive credit for future travel. This lack of compassion and flexibility has significantly tarnished my view of Etihad Airways. I expected much better from a renowned airline and hope that they reconsider their policies to better accommodate honest mistakes and unexpected life events. Given this experience, I would never recommend Etihad Airways to any of my friends or family.

Ho un volo da TRV a FCO,Etihad condivide il volo con Air Arabia per la tratta TRV/ABU Dhabi per questa tratta e’ impossibile scegliere il posto in quanto Air Arabia e’ una low cost ed i sistemi delle due compagnie non comunicano…io ho comprato un biglietto Etihad che non e’ una low cost ma ho il servizio di una low cost per un tratto del viaggio…all’andata ci hanno dato posti separati nelle ultime file poi sono riuscito ad avere i posti vicini ma sempre in una delle ultime file…trovo assurdo comprare un biglietto da una compagnia come Etihad e avere il servizio di una low cost!!!! Inoltre non e’ possibile nemmeno effettuare il check-in online sempre per il code sharing con Air Arabia…anche se e’ arrivata l’email che avverte della possibilita’ di farlo…che confusione!!!!!

I booked my ticket for Eithad Airlines trough trip.com. my trip was to Pakistan on the 13th Feb and return was on the 4 March 2024 but our plans changed whilst I was there so I had to cancel my return ticket. I cancelled my ticket in good time but the Airline didn't offer any refund. I contacted Trip.com they said that Eithad are not issue a refund (even partial refund) then I rang Eithad and they said Trip.com are supposed to issue the refund. Furthermore my father had booked through Emirates and he also had to cancel his return back to UK and they issued him a full refund. I will highly recommend book your ticket throw Emirates official website, their customer service is exceptional.

Cancelled our Heathrow to Abu Dhabi flight due to technical issues with their plane after two hours sat onboard with no updates. EC Regulation 261/2004 stipulates that, due to us not taking off and arriving until a day later, we were due compensation of £520 per person. Took a month to even reply and gave us as many hoops to jump through as humanly possible.

Flight got cancelled due to 'a technical error' and we were only told at boarding time after hours of confusion and speculation. What followed was even more stressful as we tried to find our way from the airport to hotel they boarded us in. The next morning we were told we'd be flying out in the evening but the transit in Abu Dhabi would be over 13 hrs. All in all, we arrived back in London over two days late. After many emails and calls back and forth, we were offered 200 USD each in the form of Etihad credit, no cash refund. This was unsatisfactory as we lost out on 2 full working day's income due to the delay, not to mention the overall stress. Their website stipulates 600 EURO for a case such as ours. They didn't want to budget and gave us a 'take it or leave it' attitude. Generally, I felt a lack of care and empathy from the airline. I'm still going to try and get my cash back as I don't want to fly with Etihad again.

Bookede i god tid og i den forbindelse bookede vi midtersædet også til særpris. Dette tillæg ville kun blive opkrævet hvis der var ledig kapacitet og servicen kunne leveres. Alle 4 fly var fuldbooket men alligevel var tillægget allerede opkrævet og vi har her 2½ måned efter hjemkomst intet hørt fra selskabet af selvom vi rettede henvendelse i Abu Dhabi lufthavnen på udturen. Her fik vi besked om at de intet kunne gøre men at vi skulle rette skriftlig henvendelse til selskabet. Det gjorde vi så da vi kom hjem efter også at konstatere at service ikke kunne leveres på hjmerejsen. Vi har stadig intet hørt fra selskabet af. Ud af 4 flyvinger fik vi en rigtig god service på den ene af dem. Derudover var den elendig. Derfor 2 stjerner herfra. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Hicimos dos vuelos con ellos y quedamos muy contentos. Asientos cómodos, la comida deliciosa y la atención por parte del personal impecable. Cada asiento tiene pantallas con peliculas recién estrenadas en el cine. Además, en el viaje de ida nos regalaron dos noches de hotel en Abu Dhabi por hacer un stop over gratuito. Desde nuestra experiencia, muy recomendable.

Just came from a chat with an unhelpful customer service rep. I booked my flight 14th of April 2024 and saw there was an option for a stopover. I clicked it and it showed "Free hotel for 2 nights". I was curious and chose the option as who wouldn't want to visit Abu Dhabi on a free hotel. Today I tried to actually book the hotel and there was no free ones. I go and talk with customer services that tell me that the program of 2 free nights at an hotel on stopover had been cancelled in March (way before I first visited their website). I said i didn't even know about this program before, I was interested in my flight destination, not really a stopover. The one and only reason I chose to do a stopover was because the website advertised it in my face. The rep visited the website and said he didn't see anything but I sent him my link of the website which was for the Portuguese version (just switch language on the top) and that one still shows today, over a month after the program was cancelled, that you get 2 free nights at a hotel on a stopover. He said he verified it and this was a website error and he couldn't do anything. This a blatant scam as now I'm going to have to spend even more money on my trip on a 150€ hotel for 2 nights when what I'd wish right now is to cancel everything and blacklist this company. I even tried to compromise and try to not do a stopover at all and just flight from my destination back home just by doing a layover and not a stopver and he said i'd have to pay for the change as there's a fee. Total scam!

Etiadh se vende como una de las compañias de “alto standing” del Golfo, pero la experiencia de volar con ellos te demuestra lo lejos que está de ese status. El confort y la comodidad así como la atención y el servicio a bordo son, siendo generoso, deficientes. En mi caso tuve que reclamar, por indicación de su empleada en el aeropuerto, y a día de hoy tras varios correos electrónicos aún estoy esperando que me respondan. Atención al clente pésima. La mejor queja es que no volveré a volar con ellos.

Sono rientrato il 4 marzo da un viaggio con ETIHAD, ho trovato valigia Samsonite rotta, ho perso due ore x fare denuncia, e poi mi è stato riferito che dovevo recarmi presso un centro autorizzato x valutare danno, non riparabile e ho speso 30€ x farmi fare il preventivo, ora ETIHAD vuole risarcire con 50$,circa 48€.Considerando che per averli devo pagare circa 10€ di bolli e altro, è una vergogna. Li regalo a loro ma non userò mai più questa compagnia.

Ich bin mit Etihad am 21. April von Bahrain nach Abu Dhabi und dann von Abu Dhabi nach Culicut geflogen. Der Service war hervorragend. Das Begleitpersonal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Essen auf dem Flug von Abu Dhabi nach Culicut war sehr köstlich. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Une véritable honte !!! Nous avions un vol au départ de Paris pour Abu Dhabi puis une correspondance sur la même compagnie Etihad pour notre destination finale. Le vol au départ de Paris a été annulé. Nous sommes finalement arrivée 2 jours plus tard, le temps de nous replacer et nous ajouter une correspondance non prévue au passage ! Nous avons donc perdu 2 jours de prestations sur place, nuits d'hôtel etc.. Nos vacances ont été grandement impactées par cette événement. Et voilà que plusieurs semaines après avoir déposé une réclamation, Ethiad nous annonce que le "retard" étant dû à une circonstance hors de leur contrôle nous n'aurions AUCUNE compensation : une collision d'oiseaux ! Motif bien pratique pour ne pas avoir à indemniser des voyageurs. 2 jours de voyage perdus et un vol non remboursés. C'est lamentable je n'ai jamais vu un tel mépris pour ses propres clients. La compagnie n'assume pas ses responsabilité et fait preuve d'une malhonnêteté sans nom ! Fuyez Etihad, si vous avez un problème il se défile sans aucune honte ! Pour ma part je ne prendrais plus jamais cette compagnie.

My flight from Geneva to Abu Dhabi on Friday 8th March 2024 was cancelled due to a technical problem, so I decided to get a refund and to travel with another airline. On 10th March 2024, I raised a claim for a refund and for indemnisations, case 2403104088808. Despite their commitment to reply within 30 days, despite the Swiss regulations and despite my calls to their service center, I haven't received an email since. Such a poor customer service, from an airline that pretends to be a world class leader, is simply unacceptable. Even low cost airlines have better customer service than Etihad. Avoid Etihad at all costs ! 26/05/2024 : Update, things are getting worse. After 2,5 months of fighting over emails, I thought I had managed to get the refund, but they've only proceed half of it, i.e. for one ticket only instead of two (my wife and I were travelling together on the same flight, same booking number, same case). This customer service is a joke, or more seriously, they have instructions to delay payments.
