United Arab Emirates | 18 March 2024I have voucher to use for my booking in this week, however, I tried to use it by logging in to my Etihad credit account, I forgot my pin and to reset my pin i had an error message which i have to contact Etihad, by contacting Etihad they informed me that to have this problem solved it has to be through the Etihad credit who can only be reached by email, and God knows when they will reply to my email although i stated it is urgent, there is no contact with etihad credit except by email,and if i want to make my booking through the call center and use my voucher as stated online, they will charge me 30 $ for service fee, despite the fact that the error is their fault. and if i keep waiting till the etihad credit call me or get back to me in the email. i might lose my seat :( i advise to avoid etihad as much as you can, very bad customer support and very bad organized. my issue is urgent. it has been more than 24 hours and yet no contact and i cannot do anything from my side if i want to use my voucher......

United Kingdom | 18 March 2024I tried to book a flight from bengaluru to London along with family, the Airways Payment system has got the worst service its either online using there portal or using their customer helpline service, i had a very bad experience booking flight with these guys for the first time in my travels with Etihad, there is no immediate refund of your amount even if its the error from their system, you will have to wait until 15 days to get your money refunded back to your original payment mode and if we want to proceed booking with already available reference number where money was deducted and ticket wasn't confirmed. and the worst thing is that there is not track of issue on the case number they have provided, every we call their helpline will connect one or the other person and will have to explain what happened entirely again and again. they are having a non sense policy if the ticket is not confirmed even after the payment is received from customer they don't provide any acknowledgment via email or sms about the refund of amount that's going to process in so and so days. the worst service ever i've felt. felt like the third parties are far better than these guys. the hell, frustrating, ridiculous service.

Spain | 18 March 2024I bought a flight from Amsterdam to Delhi, and it flew via Abu Dhabi. So they offered this "Abu Dhabi Stopover Experiece", that, booking a scale up to 2 days, they will give you 2 hotel nights for free to visit the city. So I took it. Then, they send no info or whatsoever. And when you go to book the hotel, there is no such thing as free hotel night, it is "a discount". "But the conditions said FREE", and then the customer service says that "that was the opening offer, but, if you read the terms and conditions you agreed, it says that we can take the offer back anytime and without reason". So obviously you are there, in Abu Dhabi trap for 2 days, and now you HAVE TO book a hotel and pay it, because, you cannot escape! It is the perfect and legal scam. I won't fly with them ever again, and I won't ever recommend it to anybody. Italy | 17 March 2024Dopo aver letto molte recensioni era preoccupato, in realtà però la mia esperienza è stata molto positiva. Marzo 2024, volo RM Abu Dhabi e ritorno, partito in orario entrambe le volte. Andata prenotati 4 posti nelle ultime file (quelle a due), tutto regolare, volo tranquillo puntuale. Pranzo e due rifornimenti di bevande. Al ritorno aereo cambiato (cmq comunicato ca 10 gg prima) e quindi mi sono stati assegnati altri posti a ca. metà aereo, cmq vicino ai finestrini come volevo. Volo notturno, tranquillo, in orario. Cordialità a bordo da parte del personale. Unico aspetto veramente negativo è la loro politica di bagaglio da cabina, 7 kg sono veramente troppo pochi. Avevo letto di controlli del peso alla partenza, ma non ce ne sono stati in entrambi i casi. Cmq resta una politica assurda, neanche la peggiore delle low coast fa così, tenendo conto che per avere 5 kg in più dovevo pagare 100 euro a tratta. Non fa onore al resto del servizio, invece impeccabile. Nel complesso però esperienza positiva, servizio a bordo buono e puntualità.

United Kingdom | 16 March 2024we are seven passengers included 2 toddlers 3 and 4 years old and we have 6 kg extra bag and the check in staff make as take out and its take them 2 hours to check in, I well like to make complain by Wright. Please send me your e-mail id: the check in staff need more training and helpful and they all talk to each other their home country language which make uncomfortable.

Etihad charged us 290$ only to reissue the ticket. So we ended to pay 150% of the service but got only 50% of it. Etihad has wings like vultures

Thailand | 14 March 2024Wir sind gestern zu viert von München über Abu Dhabi nach Puckett gereist mit Etihad und wir können auch nicht verstehen, warum so viele schlechte Bewertungen abgegeben worden sind. Wir waren mit Service, Essen und allem drum herum ist sehr zufrieden. Gerne wieder Etihad.

Het was de eerste keer dat we met deze maatschappij vlogen en het was prima bevallen! Genoeg beenruimte, lekker eten, vriendelijke bediening, moderne toestellen. Wat ons betreft een aanrader en voor herhaling vatbaar!

Denmark | 13 March 2024Min rejseoplevelse med Etihad i forbindelse med turen til Bahrain, hvor vi havde en mellemlanding i Abu Dhabi bagefter, var overordentlig tilfredsstillende. Jeg kan kun fremhæve positive aspekter ved denne oplevelse. Vi fløj i alt fire gange, og hver flyvning var punktlig med god benplads og en mere end tilfredsstillende catering om bord. Desuden forløb bagagehåndteringen uden problemer, og alt dette til en overraskende rimelig pris. Jeg vil give oplevelsen en 10 ud af 10, og jeg vil helt sikkert vælge Etihad igen i fremtiden.

Netherlands | 12 March 2024After flights were being uprooted during Covid, Etihad did not refund the money but put approx US$ 1000+ in their Travel Bank. Their proposal and we agreed to that. We could never use it and then without warning they just stopped this Travel Bank and evaporated our credit. So far, all communication is fruitless . The customer service gives you an email address that does not work: feedback at etihad.ae . when you email your case here you get an automatic reply that you have to contact: etihad com / en /help/ feedback but that never works . I have the feeling that the customer service people want to help , but do not have the means to do so. Everything loops back and you end where you started - a return ticket let’s say without even leaving your home-. The crazy thing is that we want to use this balance to fly to Abu Dhabi for a logistics conference. We simply want to use our own credit for that. It is not right to just evaporate someone’s credit without a prior warning . Just a mail saying:' please be aware your Travel Bank account will be cancelled if you do not use it before ; date. Would have been a nice thing to do. The Question is: how to use the credit on a Travel Account from Etihad?

Thailand | 10 March 2024Booked a flight that was scheduled to leave abu dhabi at 9:20am and arrive at Doha at 9:20am. Etihad just went and changed it to 2:15am. Taking the changed flight would get me stranded at the Doha airport in the early hours of morning. Being a foreigner and woman, the flight would be most inconvenient and might even be dangerous. On top of that, I had already booked a hotel for the night before, which I would lose. What kind of airline changes the schedule of a flight by more than 7 hours? Never heard of it happening to other international airlines. Etihad certainly doesn't live up to the international standard.

NULLA Tornato in Italia e telefono al 022333… Mi risponde un operatore a dir poco scocciato, cerco di spiegare e “ fuori onda “ dice a un collega “ ecco un altro rompicoglione “. Pazzesco mai visto e sentito una cosa del genere …. Chiesto di ripetermi il proprio nome mi ha chiuso la telefonata Vergognosa la compagnia aerea e pessimo il servizio assistenza

I booked my flight on Booking.com , the flight was for the 18 th of December return and unbeknown to me they cancelled it and put me on the flight the day before, no one asked me if that was ok, I had an expensive hotel booked to splash out a couple of nights before I returned, it took me over a week to get a free change when someone ( either side) took responsibility. I flew on the 19 th which cost me additional hotel etc. I got to Heathrow on the first flight with 2 hours till my flight to Abu Dhabi, at presentation of my boarding card an alarm rung and I was directed to an assistant, she asked how many bags I had I said one , I kinda guessed it wasn’t on board so I asked her and she lied to me saying it was. Got to Mumbai no case, I waited almost 5 days with very little info. On arrival in Portugal I realised my locks had been forced open obviously by the Indian customs, cost me 200 euros to repair( Rimowa) . I was sent a survey and I gave a very low score so much so someone called me , told me I would be contacted again ( still waiting) I had also given feedback on 2 separate issues the bag delay and one separate for the bad pre flight boarding experience. I was eventually offered 198 euros for the clothes toilet stuff I needed over a month ago, the link is broken keeps giving error and I’ve even asked my brother to try on his , just the same. I’ve spent so much money on phone calls , emails and time trying to get someone to take my details manually so I can get the money but every single customer service baggage department ( Mr Ahmed ) lie and fob me off. I would like to get this sorted out asap , I’m a tour guide with an excellent plus review on customer service so I’m very au fait with what it should be. I have never flown with Etihad before and o would have to be desperate to do so again. Fight fight fight to get what is yours. 2312193962383 Is my case number. The airline demonstrated a complete lack of responsibility and accountability, especially in handling my baggage and providing accurate information. My stroller was mishandled and returned in an unacceptable state, and one of my bags was severely damaged. The customer service was consistently poor and unhelpful, leading to unnecessary stress and inconvenience. This is not the level of service one expects from a reputed airline. My case number with them is 2403044079972, and despite formal complaints, the response has been inadequate. Etihad used to symbolize quality and customer care, but my recent experience suggests they have significantly deviated from these values. I strongly recommend choosing alternative airlines for your travel needs.

Their words “I would like to inform you that and in line with Conditions of Carriage Article 12.1.3, we do not make any guarantees about the availability of in-flight entertainment, advertised duty free products, and other services. In this regard, this case does not qualify for compensation.”

United Kingdom | 01 March 2024The Etihad Kochi ground staff (A17) made my Christmas day miserable. When I sought assistance from any available managers to clarify my doubts, they refused me abruptly. Etihad normally sends a feedback form for every flight, but they even ignored me for that particular flight. However, I submitted feedback through their website and finally received a response after two months. ref: 2312263971619

Netherlands | 27 February 2024We recently made a time-critical booking via Etihad, and it only put us through unnecessary stress. 1. The amount was deducted from my account when we booked, but we did not get any email about our booking. 2. We contacted Etihad customer service, and they gave a PNR number and asked us to wait five days for an email confirmation. The PNR worked so we waited. 3. Two days later, we checked the flight status using the PNR number, and the booking details were missing this time. 4. We called customer service again, and they raised a case and asked us to wait for a callback. 5. We received no callback, so we called again after waiting for a day. 6. This time, the customer service personnel said that the booking got cancelled, and the amount that appears in my bank statement is a soft charge that should be reverted back to my account. 7. They now, after five days of no proper response, asked us to rebook once we reached out after waiting for a response from Etihad. The ticket prices increased threefold by then. It is frustrating that Etihad did not inform us on time about the issue with the booking. Just a simple email would have made it easier for us. Even after knowing that the issue was due to their software, Etihad did nothing to solve the issue. Neither did they take responsibility to make sure this does not repeat in the future.
