United Kingdom | 21 November 2024I was travelling with my elderly parents from Thiruvananthapuram Airport on 15/11/24 on flight EY263. I spoke to the duty manger regarding assistance for my parents. He was very helpful with arranging wheelchairs and check in. He also spoke to me at the gate to check everything was ok. In my opinion his customer service was excellent. People like him are an asset to your company. My bookin ref : MUTTOV

France | 21 November 2024J'ai annulé 2 billets d'avion qui etaient annulables dans les temps en juin dernier, mais la compagnie ne m'a toujours pas remboursée alors que nous sommes en novembre. Apres avoir contacter le service client en juin, ceux ci m'ont indiquer que le remboursement a ete pris en compte. Nous sommes en novembre et apres avoir cherché un peu partout sur le net un numero de telephone, car celui que j'avais contacté en juin ne fonctionnant plus, je parviens enfin à avoir un numero. La personne au telepone m'indique que je n'ai jamais acheté 2 billets et essaie de me raconter des histoires. J'ai passé 2h au telephone avec eux pour essayer de me faire entendre. Mon probleme n'est toujours pas réglé, je dois prendre rdv avec un avocat. Compagnie à fuir!!!

Netherlands | 19 November 2024After they had a couple of affordable fares from europe to asia i became a silver member of Etihad. Things seemed to be looking up. Usually good fares, sometimes not the cheapest but still among the cheaper, good connections. Although service aboard usually grumpy and food just fair, all seemed ok. Silver member services on the ground were nice with abundant food and drinks in Abu Dhabi. Then again you can also avail that from other airlines when you pay a little extra but still. Until this year everything went down. Fares are not competitive anymore and a few times that I had to ask things to the online customer service that is downright terrible. On the phone as well as in the email people just keep repeating standard texts and are rude or avoid to answer anything at all. Now I have been busy for almost 3 months to process miles from their partner company. All evidence was already handed over 3 months ago but they just keep repeating standard text emails about, please be informed that bla bla bla. terrible. they must think their customers are stupid. Stay away from this airline unless you have no choice. There are much better deals and services around especially if the fares are no longer competitive.

Flyet var så ekstremt pakket og med næsten ingen plads, så selv et lavprisselskab er bedre Man skal betale for at vælge sæde, selv under check in.Hvad endnu værre er, at når man har betalt, er man ikke engang sikker på at få sædet, da de blot flytter en. De sætter ikke rejsende, der er sammen, ved siden af hinanden. De tillader passagerer at medbringe ildelugtende mad. De boarder tidligt, men kommer for sent af sted, så man sidder i flyet og venter en time inden afgang.De er 55 minutter forsinket med boarding uden nogen form for information. Efter vi har booket aflyser de flyvningen, så vi kommer en dag senere hjem Samt en mængde mindre ting, der ikke fungerer hos Ethiad, dels i deres procedurer og dels i kabinen

United Kingdom | 17 November 2024I would give this airline a negative star if possible. Flight was delayed from Mumbai to Heathrow by 2 hours initially. But then all of a sudden changed to 7 hours. Zero communication from any of the staff and travelling with young children does not make it easier. Was at Mumbai airport for over 10 hours and when asked to use the lounge was refused by incompetent, careless staff. Have raised a complaint via customer services on 14th November and spoke to somebody called Samira who stated I will get an email in the next few days about the next steps on how to claim compensation. Was also given a case number.

United Kingdom | 16 November 2024Awful! Worst airline I have used. I booked flights for 2 from bangkok to manchester and have had nothing but problems since booking. Etihad have messed up the booking several times and in the end cancelled my flights completley sue to a system error but refuse to refund. 8 months later I am still contacting them daily to be told please allow us 24 hours more. The company is an absolute joke. The customer service is the worst of any company by far, if you call they just make something up and tell you something to get you off the phone. Usually they lie and say what you want to hear and tell you to wait 45 days. This is just to waste time hoping you will stop trying with them. The online chat just says please allow us 24 hours or our team will be in touch. Awful people! They do have an office in London 020 3976 0700 there is no wait usually but they just lie to get you off the phone

Der var absolut ingen problemer whatsoever og crewet var super søde og imødekomne og der var god service. Så alt var helt perfekt ud over at jeg stadig bliver spammet med mails lol

Their customer support agent told me to book another connecting flight because the first one had more than 24 hours layover. I booked another flight and they did not let me board the plane because there were two different bookings.

India | 15 November 2024I’ve booked Etihad flight ticket through an agent which was insured by cancellation policy. After few days the airline company canceled the flight and rescheduled that ticket to next day. After that whenever i tried for cancellation of ticket and refund they are refusing my request and blaming agent . Anyway i wont travel again through this service. Never expected such kind of worse experience from your side Etihad.

It didnt say anything else but "contact Etihad and we can change it after your booking". I did as told and then it cost me 100 dollars to get it changed. These hidden fees are terrible and enough to make me dont wanna support Etihad.

Australia | 13 November 2024Paid extra to select seats on our 4 main long legs for our recent OS trip in July 24 - Sydney to Rome return. Selected and paid in October 2023. We like to have the 2 seats on the aisle in the middle section of the plane (usually D and E) and avoid the window section (particularly B and C) where you are often interrupted by the person on the window seat getting up and down. None of our seats were as selected. On 2 of the legs the seats were comparable so I did not have an issue. On the other 2 legs however, they placed us in the window sections (B&C), exactly where we did not want to be and paid extra to avoid. We put in a claim for refund for the seat selection for these 2 legs immediately on our return (end of July 24) and were given a case number. They assured the claim would be reviewed and the outcome advised within 28 business days. I then chased them up by telephone. On each occasion they admitted the time for response is unacceptable and they said they will send a priority email to a high-level manager in their claims section and assured me they will respond within 72 hours and to ring back after this time. After 5 months and 16 phone calls I finally got an email response accepting the claim and was finally refunded a month later. Totally unacceptable customer service.

Germany | 12 November 2024Noch immer keine Rückerstattung! Ich hatte im März einen Flug von Frankfurt nach Bangkok gebucht.Zwischenstopp in Abu Dhabi.Dort angekommen,war der Anschlussflug überbucht. Nach einer kostenlosen Übernachtung mit Tranfer zum Hotel und zurück zum Flughafen in Abu Dabhi ,bekam ich auch ein Rückerstattungsticket über 600 Euro.Auf dieses Geld warte ich jetzt schon seit 8 Monaten. Emails,Chats,Telefonanrufe....niemand fühlt sich zuständig...Traurig!Bordservice war topp.

Belgium | 10 November 2024Stopover Abu Dhabi voor vlucht naar Qatar. Beloven een hotel voor 600€, kies hotel uit lijst en blijft in progress staan. Week voor vertrek 4 x!! gebeld om bevestiging te krijgen. Telkens werd gemeld dat ze dit in orde brengen. Prijzen van hotels waren ondertussen 3 x de prijs en dacht dat je verplicht was dit hotel te nemen via hun omdat er steeds stond in progress. Uiteindelijk krijg je dag van vertrek melding dat het gekozen hotel volgeboekt is en ze geen hotel kunnen aanbieden. Wij hebben hierdoor 1500€ gespendeerd aan een hotel voor 3n. - aftrek van hotel via hun 600€ blijft een verlies van 900€ over!! Schande voor dit bedrijf en zoveel stress gehad hierdoor.

Germany | 08 November 2024Flüge TOP, Reklamationen FLOP Flugverspätung um 24 Stunden. Anschlussflug verpasst, Hotelkosten sind entstanden und die Ankunft einen Tag später. Die Reklamation für diese Verspätung, die Forderung einer Entschädigung ist derart kompliziert und bewusst zum wimmeln verschachtelt. Heute, nach zwei Monaten immer noch nicht erledigt. Keiner der verwendeten E-Mail Adressen fühlt sich zuständig. Die Online-Reklamation läuft ins leere. Einfach nur eine große Sauerei!

United States | 07 November 2024I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience I encountered during my recent transit through Abu Dhabi Airport on an Etihad Airways flight en route to London. My mother, who required wheelchair assistance, was provided a wheelchair and then transferred to an electric vehicle for transit. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with the electric vehicle driver. Despite the need for assistance and my presence to support my mother, the driver refused to allow me, as a co-passenger, to accompany her in the vehicle. When I attempted to address the situation, the driver responded rudely, escalating into a verbal altercation. My mother was then transported alone to the Etihad transit assistance area, leaving me feeling both concerned and dissatisfied. This experience was particularly disappointing, as I have previously traveled with Qatar Airways and have consistently experienced courteous assistance for passengers needing special care. I kindly urge you to investigate this matter, as such behavior does not meet the standards expected at a premier international airport.

(Online Complaint#2407044268085) On 30 June 24, I was flying from Istanbul Airport to Abu Dhabi with my family for 4 and 15 minutes before the new gate was announced and the new gate was also 15 minutes away by walk! 1-It was Impossible to reach the new gate which was gate F from the old gate which was A. If you know Istanbul Airport it’s far away. 2-There was no announcement, no phone call, no announcement on LED screens at the boarding gate, no Etihad staff looking for passengers with boarding passes already issued to them waiting at the previous gate. 3- Later we learned that there is no office and no staff of Etihad always at Istanbul airport or event anywhere in Turkey? Etihad is managed by a third party called Celebi. In Turkey. 4- When we contacted the call center they told us that the penalty of No Show would be charged and only our travel agent can book the flight. 5- When our travel agent tried to book the next flight there were no seats available for 2 days. 6- We booked Qatar airways which cost us 2400 USD but the service level was on another level compared to Etihad Airways. 7- As per Etihad Airways rules full refund is eligible if boarding time is less than 30 minutes, in our case the boarding started at 6:50 and the gate closed at 7:15 and at 7:00 the gate change also happened. Its common sense that why would family of four people with boarding passes already issued to them and sitting at the boarding gate well in advance miss their flight? What is the logic of Etihad Airways? Do you take ANY BLAME in this situation or just put all the burden on your customers????? Etihad airways customer service has refused for any refund or compensation via email on 12 July24. They don’t think of customers too much and they have a royal mentality where the customer can’t do anything and Etihad is always right. I have lost 3500 USD because of inefficiency and negligence of Etihad Airways and urge all of you not to save money and travel with QATAR/ TURKISH OR EMIRATES But NEVER ETIHAD Airways.
