By FAR the worst airline I ever flew with, we flew business class from BCN to SIN, the boarding was not only a mess but unsafe, the food was absolute rubbish, big delay and the service on board was beyond terrible, honestly, how dare they ?

Germany | 04 November 2024Ich habe (natürlich auf englisch) eine begründete Beschwerde gechrieben. Nach über einem Monat hatte ich immer noch keine Reaktion! Ich schrieb also also eine Erinnerung - nach zwei Wochen keine Reaktion. Service gleich null!!!

It happens did technical problems but when I got into the plane the seat that I got had a broken tray that was dirty. They could not even give me a another seat to sit on. I had to eat the food on my lap. I sent a feedback on their app. Explain what happened to me. It’s been over a month and no response at all on the way back three hours delayed they kept the plane for two hours that air condition was broken After two hours. They decided to take us off the plane. It took another hour to fix it and then they had they made us board again

Canada | 03 November 2024Can you imagine that your return ticket is cancelled on you without your knowledge. They said someone called on my behalf and cancelled my ticket and received an etihad credit (no clue what this means anyway). This was not the worst experience but the dealing with it after was the disaster. They are acting like nothing important happened. It is now 3 weeks and nothing is done, I was contacted once with the promise at someone will reach out to me and no one contacts me again. Just like that my return portion of the ticket has vanished. The customer service following the incident is the true disaster. To this date no response. I had to book with another airline as my date of travel is approaching. I guess Etihad is used to scammers from within doing this. Whoever did this, without any doubt in my mind, works for Etihad. This is internal work. I am done with Etihad for life. Thank God Qatar airlines will start to fly from Toronto Pearson

France | 03 November 2024Épouvantable ! A fuir Service client lamentable, ils vous prennent de haut et abusent de leurs pouvoirs . Empêchée d’embarquer à Abu dhabi , j’ai attendu 10 h à l’aéroport. Tous plus nuls les uns que les autres ! Vous êtes baladés de comptoirs en comptoir. Aucune considération de notre temps et de notre stress. premier et dernier vol avec cette compagnie nullissime.

United Kingdom | 31 October 2024Ive flown to Sydney several times with Etihad business class and I find it faultless! the whole experience leaves rivals in shame, ive stopped flying business to my house in Barbados with BA because the BA product in comparrison has become an embaressement.

I actually wasn’t interested in staying in Abu Dhabi, but they offered a 2 nights free stop over in Abu Dhabi, so why not, maybe it is worth it. Tried to book my hotel online right after booking the flight ticket but there always came a message on the Website „Hotel booking not available“. So, I thought I would try again. After a while I chatted with them on the website. Turns out there are no free hotel rooms left. So, I asked them to change my flight so I don’t have a stop over - they said flight changes are not included in my ticket. I talked to the manager of the service and he was not willing to help. So, they offered a free stop over without actually having any rooms available at the time of the booking. They are not willing to change my flight, so that I don’t have to stay over night in Abu Dhabi.

On Aug 12 my flight was cancelled just one hour before departure, had to fly another airline to reach my destination on time, which of course costed me more. I only wanted refund for my ticket. Claimed it on 15 Aug, followed it up consistently, even though in the claim I submitted they said they will contact me in 28 days, it took them 75 days to tel me they have forwarded my case for a ticket refund, and it will take 45 days for my bank to receive the refund. Imagine, this is a business class ticket and I am a Silver Gust member (not flying with them anymore).

Philippines | 26 October 2024Terrible customer support. After flying my luggage has been cracked and is not useable. The crack is on the wheel and they refuse to admit it compromise integrity. For them it’s too minor to be handled. This has been dealt by Nahom and his team with his email feedback at etihad.ae That was a very expensive luggage and this is just total deny. This is the last time I’m flying this company.

United Kingdom | 25 October 2024Will never fly with Etihad again! Old, cramped plane. Poor picture on the screens. Average food at best. Very uncomfortable seats! Because of this we paid to upgrade our seats for the return leg, only to be told upon arrival at the airport that they had changed the plane so we had been reallocated seats. So we never saw the upgraded seats we paid for and, to cut a long and very boring story short, 5 months later are yet to see any of the money back despite chasing them up on numerous occasions. The customer service is staggeringly bad! Avoid at all costs. Pay more to fly with someone else if you need to!

United Kingdom | 25 October 2024Wow. Just wow. I had bad impressions about this airlines based on what people told us but were they wrong! The check in was nice and simple and the staff were very kind. The lounge was amazing and had a good selection of food. The staff there was also, again, very kind. The business class seats, where I went, were very extravagant and WAY cheaper than some other, worse, seats. Cough emirates cough. The cabin crew made the flight relaxing and easy for us. At one point, something got lodged into the seat not allowing it to come back up. The cabin crew got to us straight away and fixed the issue instantly! Overall, this airline is very underrated for the facilities it provides and the quality it is. Definitely flying again!!!

We bought 3 tickets at a reasonable price, after couple of weeks they cancelled the reservation and say that the refund can take up to 45 days! Be careful, this company is a scam. After many calls with the Indian call center and live chats, they never, never! told us why they cancelled the reservation, how can you trust a company like this? This leads me to believe they are doing fare fraud. Cancelling the tickets for people to buy them more expensive. They always try to have you on phone to not have any written proof of the conversation where they are not able to tell you what happened. We are still waiting for the refund.

Spain | 23 October 2024Nos cancelaron los vuelos desde España a Kenia 15 días antes de volar. Las alternativas ofrecidas eran pésimas, tres escalas, pero económicamente más ventajoso que recuperar el dinero y sacar otros billetes. Los tenía comprados desde enero. Nos añadieron una escala en Egipto muy larga. Viajaba con un niño, y no conocía el aeropuerto de El Cairo. Fue una experiencia para olvidar, poder escribir un libro y no recomendar a nadie. En el último vuelo operado por Egyptair nos perdieron las maletas. Para el regreso intente cambiar los vuelos pagando lo necesario. Pero desde Etihad me dijeron que eso no era posible. Y la opción de comprar otros vuelos en otra compañía a 15 días de volar eran muy caros y Etihad no nos devolvía el dinero. Sobre las perdida de maletas se desentendió por completo. Esta compañía en caso de problemas no da respuesta, se desentiende. Además, no dispone atención al cliente. esto último lo sé ahora.... NO LA RECOMIENDO.

Yesterday his phone rang just once for 1 second and cut off. It showed a call from Etihad. They have made no attempt again and it is impossible to call them as they simply have recorded messages referring to their equally dreadful website.

United Kingdom | 22 October 2024NORMALLY I TRAVEL BY QATAR BUT NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED THIS TIME I DECIDED TO FLY WITH ETHIAD. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES I EVER FACED IN MY LIFE . I ADDED COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM ABU DHABI TO DUBAI AND GUESS WHAT THEY CANCELLED IT AND IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE SINCE THEN. THE ADVISORS/INDIAN CALL CENTRE KEPT ON INSISTING ON CANCELLING AND REBOOKING TICKETS AND PAYING THE DIFFERENCE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS AIRLINE MESS. HAD IT BEEN THE OTHER WAY AROUND THEY WOULD HAVE EASILY BLAMED ME. THE WORST NIGHTMARE EVER DON'T EVER TRAVEL BY ETHIAD, LESSON LEARNT!
