United Kingdom | 21 August 2019Insurers gave me no choice despite being 15 miles away, but did a pretty easy job (replacing bumper) well. Good communication and service, although being an insurance job, took for ever. Quality courtesy car provided. No complaints.

United Kingdom | 20 August 2019I used Motofix Swindon for a grill and badge replacement. I used Motofix's pick up drop off service which was very helpful and can't fault the service which was timely and to the customers needs. The final finish was excellent and would highly recommend the service for anyone looking for motor repairs. Andy Hope

United Kingdom | 14 August 2019Have to say I was really impressed with the service and quality of workmanship and paint on my Alfa and previously my Abarth and Audi. These guys are a breath of fresh air and an absolute pleasure to deal with, with consistent results and high standards. Can highly recommend.

United Kingdom | 16 March 2019Had an accident with a deer and insurers through their agents had Motofix Swindon as an approved repairer. They were late in getting me a courtesy car which was so underpowered it was dreadful, and then took 16 days to change a bumper and headlight and grilles. Did a good job of that but there service experience was awful. Didn't update as to delays on the fix although parts were literally off the shelf, and reception didn't pas on messages so causing more frustration. They didn't seem to care about the passage of time or anything really. Will never use again.

United Kingdom | 10 March 2019Motofix Exeter repainted my Astra van 3 times. And it’s so bad that no other garage in south west would consider taking on the rectifying it. Avoid this company at all costs

United Kingdom | 01 March 2019Do not use this company.Their High Wycombe store is very uncooperative. They quote as they are VWA they are better than other repairers. They say that so they can charge five times what other repairers quote. They are unhelpful, will not admit mistakes and just tell you to take it up with insurance. Stay well clear of this company who make excuse after excuse. They feel they are superior to other garages. You have the right to chose your own garage. just read the reiews for both stores. Not one person with a complaint can say they have been helped.

United Kingdom | 01 March 2019I've no complaints at all. From start to finish I was kept informed, even got the car back early. Work was good, everything was clean, and the admin minimal. Courtesy car was supplied which made the whole thing easy. I'd use them again.

United Kingdom | 08 February 2019Had the vehicle over 5 weeks for damage repair after an Asda delivery driver who could not reverse piled in the back right hand side when I was not even in the car. During the time it was in for repair they scratched all the rear lights up, burnt the rear carpet, the welding sealant was rubbish and highly visible that a repair had been done, the interior was left all muddy and the paint job was rubbish - the worst I have ever seen. All the inside was left dusty and filthy and they handed me a 1 year old car back looking like a 6 year old car. I refused it back. Was delayed another week whilst they put a new rear carpet in, repaired the lights, cleaned the interior and made the paint better. It is still not right and never will be. There are still markings on the headlining and the paint is still not right. P!$$ poor 3rd rate service to be avoided at all costs. Better take to a back street garage with an apprentice on a spray can from an autoshop as you would get a better job done. Got fobbed off by the 3rd party insurance company refusing to do anything more to put it right. SICKENING !!!

United Kingdom | 28 May 2018I use my internally converted van for a daily coffee business, so scheduled a weeks holiday abroad at the same time as the repair - thus causing the least down-time affecting my work. The team at Swindon could not have been more helpful and professional. They emailed me three times during the repair to keep me informed on progress, and were quick to answer questions. A more friendly and efficient garage would be hard to find. I would recommend this repair company without a second thought. My van is back on the road, I am running my successful business... the van feels brand new!

United Kingdom | 06 February 2018DO NOT USE THIS REPAIRER! They have caused me more damage to my vehicle than they would actually have repaired! My vehicle's bodywork has been repaired by Motofix Swindon, good job. It's just a shame that your company has just wiped 1/3rd of the value off of my vehicle by breaking an integral electrical component! Upon returning my vehicle to me, it is apparent that they have broken the car stereo / Audi A4 5f control unit to be precise. The whole system is no longer working or functioning as it did when I presented my vehicle for repair. What is more worrying is that they apparently have a photo of the centre console from November showing that this very system apparently didn't work in November 2017! Very odd being as thou I was using it and knew it was fully working right up to the 23rd of Dec when I handed it to Motofix! I had the foresight to procure an extended RAC warranty with the vehicle to cover this very type of event. If it was faulty prior to bringing this to Motofix, why would I not have had the item repaired via the warranty that I have already paid for. So, I am a liar, am I really. WOW! That feels and sound pretty slanderous to me. Motofix are telling me that as the fault was present in November and no route cause analysis is available (ECU has not recorded the failure) that I am liable and the fault was already present. They know this because of a photo that was taken showing the stereo switched off in November. Really! Funny but it worked in November and even in December before presenting my vehicle for repair with them. Which is for the (avoidance of doubt): Sat nav Media Cd Radio Monitor Traffic Updates Manufacture quoting £3,758.38 + labour to replace the unit. I found that out when I called to ask Audi where (NOT Motofix) my car was and if there was an update. With no route cause analysis available from Audi (as the ECU in the car has not recorded the failure dates or times) there is nothing to prove anything either way!! So it's clearly cheaper and easier for Motofix to call me a liar.. Again Motofix, I have that warranty, so why would I ask you to repair something if I already knew it to be faulty????? Motofix are making a very BIG claim, stating that I personally had signed a form (when I left my vehicle in their care ) stating that my car stereo did NOT work upon arrival to their repair centre. I'd still like a copy of that letter for my solicitor! That is a COMPLETE lie!!! The unit worked and I would NEVER sign something to reflect otherwise! Why would I?? AGAIN! I HAVE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY! To now have to spend my time and hours sorting this out.. with calls placed on hold and waiting.. some 15x hours of time thus far in calls and being put on hold with no updates from ANYONE. Well done Aviva, you've lost and any of my family members. Repairer, Repairer Network and the Insurance provider all now towing the same line that I am liable and at fault. All this for an accident that was NOT my fault. Motofix Swindon have stressed that they are NOT willing to repair the damage that they have clearly caused to my vehicle, claiming that this could not have happened whilst in their care. No? how else could it have happened?? I see things differently, being as the damage has clearly been caused to my vehicle under Motofix Swindon's care, they should have footed the bill NOT the RAC whom I have my extended warranty with. I am appalled in Motofix’s approach of calling me a liar and telling me that I should now incur this cost of nearly 4K, after they have clearly damaged it beyond repair! How??? Well the battery is housed in the rear of the vehicle where the completed repair work was undertaken. Perhaps disconnecting and reconnecting the battery (or not) whilst repair was undertaken.. Incorrectly re-attaching could all have caused the problem! How do I know, or prove that for that matter?! It worked before, now it does NOT! Just so happens that coincidently the battery is housed where Motofix did their repair work. I understand components break, but after Motofix having had this vehicle for repair and me not evening having it for 1 day before noticing this issue.. After an accident that was NOT my fault and to have my vehicle returned to me broken is just completely unacceptable! To then accuse the customer or lying and knowing about the fault previously. WOW! To say I am dissatisfied is a REAL understatement. Personally don’t like being called a liar. I was happy with the repair work, till I noticed my stereo no longer worked which I called and raised as soon as I noticed. I am DISGUSTED in Motofix's approach to dealing with this, to be called a liar and accused of what exactly? To have been told by their complaints team I would have a detailed response from my complaint on or before close of business on the 29th of January 2018.. Guess what, I'm still waiting and it's now the 6th of Feb 2018. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

United Kingdom | 14 September 2017I was advised to take my car to Motofix by my insurance company. I was not told about having to pay the excess on the repairs (accident was not my fault) until after all the paperwork was done and the loan car returned. I am still £200 out of pocket. I was not advised on the use of the loan car, in fact the guy didn't seem to care about any of it. The shut lines on the bodywork are appalling the front bumper is out of alignment and the tailgate is still bent. I have now moved insurance companies specifically to one that does not use this repairer.
