I will begin with the positives. The salesman, Carlo, was absolutely amazing. He was honest and upfront during our consultation and even played a pretty important role saving us a few unnecessary fees when it came time to schedule the install. At the last minute, they called to schedule and with less than a work week's notice, I was out of town for a 2 week period and my wife is in a management position that she unable to just take off from with out enough notice to provide adequate coverage, they were very quick to threaten a 1% weekly storage fee. We contacted Carlo and he was able to assist on getting us a little leeway. The installation crew was also pretty incredible. Very professional, and safe. If I had to critique them I would say that they do not call before showing up. When asked they said they never do. The only other thing is we were left to finish detailing around windows when done. We had a large bay window installed and I had to fill in all the holes left by the Brad nailer and apply the stain. Minor inconvenience that my wife highly disliked considering the amount of money we paid. Now for the negative(s)... Crew arrived to install my windows 4 windows short. They simply were not ordered. This forced one of us to use another vacation day and rearrange our schedules to be available for a second install. When we try to reach management, they were never available. Management seemed to spend most of their time in meetings and never returned our phone calls. Long story short, for the thousands of dollars we spent on having this major project completed, I do not appreciate being dodged. Because of that, I will not be returning for future work when I have more windows and all my doors replaced. It's unfortunate that we continue to fund ourselves on the short end of trust and a very lopsided teeter of loyalty. The search will continue.

Universal Windows Direct worked with me to stay within budget. Windows came in earlier than expected. Installer was very professional and cleaned up everything. Windows look great! Thanks Universal Windows Direct!

Install crew was efficient and polite. Did a great job installing the new windows and cleaning up afterwards. Only snag in the process was a misunderstanding on the type of window we wanted in a specific area. Once it was realized, company was good about adjusting the order to accommodate request. Windows were ready ahead of schedule, which was great, but also inconvenient because they could not be warehoused for more than a few days without causing a large fee for storage. Something to think about if you have a day job requiring more than a couple days notice that you need a day off.

All windows replaced and they look fantastic. The only reason I did not give a 5 star is that one window frame needs attention, and after the Salesperson, Measurer, Installer, all took down the requirement information with a promise of replacement, no one has yet to fix this window frame.

We needed to upgrade our builder grade windows and Universal Windows came highly recommended. Our installer (Aric C.) was extremely professional. The job was completed in one day and Aric and his partner left the job absolutely spotless. We are thrilled with the quality and look of our new windows!

I would say we had some challenges in the sales process but the install crews and quality of the product made up for that! Francisco Escodaz was the crew leader for our main project. His team worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. They were efficient and very friendly while at our house.

Very unhappy with communication of the company and installers. Last week I was scheduled on a Thursday but on Tuesday the same week they called me and said they overbooked and had an opening on Wensday the same week!!! From 12pm-2pm at 1pm I called the dispatch to see what was going on and she told me that I was scheduled for 2pm-4pm!!! They showed up at 330pm. I took off work and lost my overtime which nearly $800 just because of their poor communication. Then I had a separate install of an entry door scheduled for today at 12-2 THEY SHOWED UP AT 10AM WHILE I WAS SLEEPING!!!!!!! At 11 I woke up to find they came rang the doorbell called me left a voice mail. When I called them back they said they would back at 3-4pm.... I called the dispatch she had no clue what was going on and during the phone call I texted the number that had called me at 10am and the response I got was "We will need to reschedule it Sorry Thanks for understanding." WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!! Again I lost out on another $600-$800!!!! THANKS A LOT

The window installation process was very smooth but while moving the furniture they made quite a few deep scratches on my brand-new hardwood flooring.

The installers were great very fast and very neat the only issue was it took over 4 months to get my windows after I was told it would only take 2 months at the most.

The people representing the company were easy to talk to, kind, and thoughtful, the work was done quickly and well, and I am glad to have had them improve my home with their windows.

Very high price/sales pressure. The initial price for a sliding door was $13,700+, then a few seconds later of sales speak it came down to $4,500+. Was told today only, story kept changing though to the point where I needed to throw in more windows to get a discount but even that changed over time. At Rosatti or Lowe’s, Home Depot, Menards etc it was much less. What a waste of time.

My experience with Devin Wells was super nice. He helped me understand the difference in several types of windows. Explained in detail the pros and cons as well as pricing for each option. When we decided to move forward with universal windows he went above and beyond to give us the best price. We are happy and thankful for being able to work with him!

We had Matt talk to us about what would be done to put in our new windows and back doors. We were shown what the windows would look like and how they would work. One of the doors was late in arriving, but were had ZERO problems with the installation--no messes left behind and I'm very glad we'll save on energy summer and winter and my husband won't struggle with storms and screens as the seasons change!

I love the prompt on time to install the windows and the warranty I have a problem with the fact tht a picture window tht was supposed to replaced twice the window came to the company broke they called me and let me know both times I didn't get my window put In till 3months later i only owed $870 after tht last window was installed I should of got half off of tht last $870 or I shouldn't had to pay nothing I wanted to purchase doors from universal windows but I think I'll look somewhere else 😢

They came when they said the would. There were two of them. They made sure that they would not track dirt inthe house. After that they went to work installing my windows.They worked as a team, one inside and one outside. I hardly knew that they were in my house. The were very professionable I’m the way they tagteamed the job. The took most of the day to finish, but I was very pleased at the result. I loved the finished product,and would not hesitate to call you again !!!!!

Extremely pleased with the installation of our new windows. Installer did a great job and was very thorough. The windows are beautiful and make the house look so much better.

The salesperson was great and communicated very well. After the order process was completed is when the customer service stopped. I received a call recently to set up an install date, several weeks after the windows were at the warehouse. I was given an install window between 12-2. The installers showed up almost 3 hours early without any communication. I’m sorry my wife and I choose UWD. My opinion is that the only thing they have done well is selling me the job. This whole process reminds me of Regency windows. If there was a way to give zero stars I would have done that. I will not recommend company to anyone.

First the crew was late. I had already lost 2 hours of work unpaid. No respect for my time. Then they couldn't finish and were supposed to come back a few days later but i couldn't change my work schedule. I asked the sales two to contact them and change it. Have not heard back and it's been a wrek. They need to correct the window they put in the wrong spot, change trim from black to white in the back of the house, clean our carpets they left filthy, move our bed back where it is supposed to go. The patio door already doesn't work. At first it knocked when it closed meaning the door isn't lined up properly and was hitting the frame as it closed. Now it doesn't open at all. They left marks on our existing trim around the windows on the inside. They scuffed our walls in several areas. Our entire inside of the house has just been professionally painted. They trampled our brand new landscape of plants and bushes. They left sharp debris all over the outside and we have a 1 year old here. They blobbed the chaulk, looks like a5 year old did it. They left our front door and 2 back windows that were already replaced open with the screen door present all day while my air conditioning was on. My air was running solid for 10 hours and their excuse was they needed to get in the house. I left the garage door open and the garage entry door unlocked for them. No excuse. I expect them to reimburse me for that day's bill. It was 81 when i came home, the thermostat was set to 72. It played catch up all day long. The sales rep has yet to contact me in regards to the fix to these issues. He came to inspect our issues but has not responded as to a solution that is satisfactory to us. The reviews are now seeking to be accurate when he assured us hoping meeting that they were resolved. The worst part is that the quality of the windows is fair at best. We also were forced to pay up front, deposit and financing, and now i see what a horrible mistake that was. No way to hold payment until the job is done correctly. Would not recommend this company at all.
