Got our windows installed and we are very happy 😊 the attitudes were great!!!

From the beginning with Andy Cook our sales rep, to the measurement appointment to installation, it was a great experience. Our windows were installed today and they look wonderful!! We are so pleased with the experience!

The sales person was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Every process went exactly how she explained. We have dealt with many construction and home improvement companies, and I have to say this company will remain number 1. The product and cost is exceptional. The installation team was the best. They installed 16 windows in one day. They were professional, polite, and respectful of our home. I would recommend this company to all who need replacement windows. Thank you!

Love the windows and the installers were very professional and polite, the sales person was also a great guy to work with, sorry I don't know their names but everything they did was great... in the future I will definitely go with Universal Windows Direct for the other windows... 1. Sells person lied twice to make the sell. 2. Person called to schedule appt told me a date that did not work for me. I asked to move it by one day. she said there would be a storage fee to delay. Had to move my doc apt. 3. All the windows came about 2-1/2 inches too short. The installer did not tell me and started installing them filling the gap with foam and a thin piece of vinyl. Did not work. He reordered replacements. Now I am waiting with gaps in my windows and exposed wood.

This company will call you several times and email you until you sign up or block them. Trust me, the bad reviews are true. My installers showed up three hours early. They were filthy dirty, no sign that they worked for Universal. Not on their shirts, not on their trucks. They were outsourced. No ID to prove who they were. They installed my windows and left a huge mess behind. They did not move the furniture back and literally left my front door wide open. They were jerks. They took my screens with them. I called customer service, installers came back (10 minutes). The one installed yelled at me for having him come back and threw my screens at me. Both screens were damaged beyond repair. Obviously, this was malicious. I called the company and was told "Nothing we can do". No apology for the entire situation. Lucky for me I only had them install two out of thirty windows. It's not worth the money you save. Spend a little more and get quality windows and service. I wish I did!

My door was installed on May 5th and it's now June 25, and my front door is still not entirely finished. They forgot a part and it apparently takes months to get in. Needless to say, I'm not happy. Very poor customer service. When I call them it's not easy to get a person on the phone who knows about the issue I have or when it will be resolved. Very frustrating to say the least.

Was told we might not be able to use our blinds. There is less than a 1/2” depth in the window sill, none of the blinds we had will work. The upfront honest approach would be to let homeowner know your blinds will not work with these windows. That would have been part of the decision making. We still have not figured out what we are going to do, except trash all of our blinds.

I've had 4 windows replaced this week. I can't testify yet for the quality of the windows; but i can say that the two gentlemen who installed the windows are great guys. Very careful and respectful how they did their job. Great installation experience.

The sales pitch was very pushy in the beginning, but they do have a very nice product. We had no trouble with the process at all, customer service was great about keeping in the loop about production and getting my schedule date for installation. The windows look amazing. The crew was very nice, and did great job and answered all my questions. We have one window I’m slightly concerned with and he made us aware that if we have trouble it will be corrected.

The installation looks wonderful and our installer was very quick and efficient. The only off thing was that I was told the team would arrive between 8 and 9 and he arrived at 7:20.

Up to actually getting our windows in wasn’t great. It was a major struggle to get a hold of anyone. The actual job though was AMAZING. Grateful for the two guys who came out and did all of the work! They were friendly, kind and got the job done in a timely manner. Thanks guys!

The installer arrived on time. He was very professional. He also cleaned up after himself, which I greatly appreciate!

The window I purchased was to be a 24 inch window seat in my bay window. When it arrived and after they had already taken out my old window and began to take it apart, it is realized that the seat in the new window is 6 full inches shorter all around. This makes the sides of the bay windows smaller as well. Yes, there was a change order, but it was very vague and totally unclear to me that they were giving me a smaller window for the same money. When I contacted them to settle this, the woman was rather snarky and said "Well, you signed the change order." I repeated the vagueness of the order and she got worse. I am sorry. I agreed to pay $8,000 for a specific size window. If you are going to go smaller, I should receive a lesser price. No, they just screwed me to keep a bigger profit for themselves. Watch out for their bate and switch on bay windows.!!!

Seems as if everyone has had some type of disfavorable experience with the company. The salesman was okay BUT the turnaround time, returning of phone calls, answering emails was ridiculous. It took a longer time than when we expected, the installers damaged my light fixtures out front- stepped on them and broke them, walked through my flowers, had window parts in my neighbors yard - in HIS flowers. I was also told they don't install on the weekend which meant I had to take a day off from work! So far we haven't had any issues with the windows directly but the customer service AFTER you sign the contract and the professionalism of the installers needs one star and that's pushing it . Would I buy windows from the company again? - Not sure - but I give everyone a chance. Could have been 5 stars if project was completed by the timeline, answered questions promptly, installers were professional and installation on a weekend like normal company's would I may reconsider but it definitely has to be better customer service than this. Did I contact the company about my experience - no I did not; as it takes to long for someone to return your call.

Will never do business with them again. They tell you anything to make a sale but don't back it up. Customer service can't answer questions. They promise you a call back but you won't get one. The installer that came pulled my curtains completely out of the wall, and left them that way, didn't hang the shears back up despite my instance, broke a picture frame and didn't bother to tell me.

Outstanding customer service and quality craftsmanship. The installation team was awesome. They were prompt, polite and professional.
