United States | 25 September 2024Hiboy is one of the better scooter makers, for sure. I am disappointed that the head lamp broke so easily with one drop from standing. It just shattered and now requires replacement. I feel this is a design flaw and that the housing should be metal rather than brittle plastic. But, I like everything else about the scooter so, take it with a grain of salt. Customer service made it mostly easy to get a replacement part. Unfortunately, the S2 scooter has an "old" and "new" version of the headlight, so you have to go through them to figure out which one you need.

United States | 23 September 2024Update: Hiboy has still been giving me the runaround for a week now, refusing to provide a warranty replacement for their faulty scooter that only lasted 10 months. The only resolution they have offered is to send me a part that they think might need to be replaced on the scooter, and now I am expected to pay a repair shop $100 to fix their faulty equipment. Please do not give your money to these people! My Hiboy S2 scooter crapped out with no warning, only 10 months after I bought it. Since I had read so many great reviews about their customer service before, I was expecting them to be very helpful. Not so much! I sent them an email 4 days ago now explaining that I use my scooter daily for work, and urgently need to get it repaired. Their response was to spend 4 days wasting my time by repeatedly sending emails requesting a video showing the problem. The issue I'm having is that I press the button on the scooter to turn it on, and nothing happens. I'm not able to send them a video, because Gmail keeps telling me that the file is too large to send. Even a 5-second video apparently is too large. So I have not been able to send them a video. So rather than try and find a different way to help me, they just keep sending me the same stupid email over and over asking for a video that I have repeatedly explained I'm unable to send. My boyfriend and I would have been life-long customers of them, now we will never buy one of their scooters again. Waste of $400.

United States | 15 September 2024Do not buy from this company, My kids bike broke in one month and I have been battling to get A replacement bike, but they refuse To send me a new one. It has been almost 2 months of back-and-forth emails only trying to get a replacement bike sent to me, I told them I will send the broken bike back, but please send me a new one and they will not do it. They tried telling me it was the battery and needed a new battery, but that was not it. Then they tried to tell me it was the charging cable, So I bought a new charging cable and that was not it. Moral of the story is they will not replace this bike, And they suggest to me I should take it to a repair shop instead. Do not buy from this company.

United States | 12 September 2024I was skeptical at first. I purchased a pro max from an authorized dealer. A week later, I had an issue with my scooter. Short story, Rina sent me plenty of accessories (cable lock, the parts I didn't get from shop like inner tubes etc.) and kept me informed after she sent a new motor to the shop. The shop reached out to hiboy, then I did the same to confirm. She already knew what the issue was, and who I was as soon as I mentioned the shop. My scooter is under warranty. My motor was shipped, and fixed in a week. My pro max is running very well. My advice to anyone looking to buy is to order online at their website, or visit an ebike shop that carries the brand. Make sure they are authorized. You won't regret it. I'm about to power mine on now because it's finished charging and hit the road.

United States | 10 September 2024Hiboy has been the BEST customer service and experience I've ever had. We had an incident where it rolled off the back of the truck. We needed to replace the back wheel. I emailed Hiboy. Since we were within the year of our warranty, they replaced the wheel for FREE. WHAT!!! That NEVER happens. They were so kind and helpful! Even followed up to make sure we didn't have any problems after replacing the wheel. We have another younger son so when the oldest outgrows this bike, we will ABSOLUTELY purchase another one from Hiboy! Haven't even mentioned the actual bike experience-- Our son received this for his 3rd birthday. He is soon to turn 4. He has ridden this countless times without any issues. It charges great and runs great. Perfect amount of speed settings too. We love this bike!! We purchased training wheels for it as well.

After making a stink in several emails, I’m telling me they wouldn’t give me a refund. They finally said they would after I said I wouldn’t buy From them anymore.

United States | 05 September 2024I purchased a max300 scooter recently and wrote an honest review on their official website. They deleted my review instantly multiple times knowing that my review wasn't 5 star. They are strictly controlling and filtering honest, critical customer reviews about their product. I have never seen such incident where a company is doing that secretly and not acting on good faith. Secondly, I made another purchase of an electric scooter earlier via one of their payment methods available through Shop (affirm) and requested a refund before they ship the item. They confirmed the full refund. However the first installment payment of $190 was initiated and deducted from my bank and refunded in the amount of $162 only. When I reached out and inquired about the refund, Hiboy provided a reason that my bank could be frozen without any further investigation where this issue may have caused. My impression of this company is that they only focus on sales and generating revenues but their follow up customer service quality is very poor based on the responses I received so far. Also, they are not committed to providing a good customer service. For this company to be successful, they got to have a good customer support system where they investigate and provide proper reasons why some issues may occur and also reply to customers properly. I like the scooter ride so far. Thanks.

Canada | 30 August 2024Best E-Bike company upon these arguments: fast shipping, reliable, customer service very good (they sent me replacement brakes and pads twice for free, they did not have tires and tubes in stock so I ordered on amazon and they refund me) The quality is amazing for the price, I feel like I can trust this bike no matter the weather for winter, from for rain, for any conditions. The company is legitimate and I would recommend buying from this site. Edit: I just had to replace my brake pads again (I am mountain biking with the bike, which uses a lot the brake pads) the company sent them for free within a week.

United States | 20 August 2024We had to replace our sons Wheel. My husband accidentally ordered the wrong one. They were very similar size between the regular scooter and the pro. Quickly we realized we made the mistake not hard to do. Cost of the tire is $95. We contacted the company via email to see how we could make the exchange, they told us they do not accept returns so basically eat that $100 . Can you imagine? Terrible customer relations. They don’t care to foster relationships or help try to make it right. After leaving a couple messages I finally heard back from so-called “customer service” in Arizona to be told that he was just the secretary I would have to call corporate which handles everything through email because they’re in China. He was useless! I am so infuriatingly mad 😡 we have two boys we live in a very nice gated Community in Tampa, Florida, where there are kids everywhere electric scooters electric bikes, 12 months out of the year these kids are outside. I will make sure everybody knows you’re terrible return policy and terrible customer service.

I really. like the cruze control to maintain the speed you want to ride. and the customer service is fantastic. I would recommend this bike to anyone. Thanks John
