The technician who I worked with on the phone was able to very quickly see that we had a hardware problem, and skipped the second half of his script so we could get down to business and fix the thing. United States | 21 June 2022I ordered 11 name tags with magnetic clips. They look good, however they have pin clips as opposed to the magnetic. I have the communication string clearly stating magnetic clips, and requesting that the order mirror our previous order which also had the magnetic tags. When I contacted IDville about the error, they offered to sell me the magnetic clips. As the quote I got included the magnetic clips, this is very poor customer service. So I rate the produce a 5, the execution of the order a 2, and the customer service a 1.

There were videos available to help me know what to look for when selecting a new printer for our particular needs as well as videos for most of the printers. We were looking for a package that included an integrated camera system and IDVille was one of the only vendors to provide such a package. They had numerous brands to choose from and many printers and packages so that we could choose what was right for us. Prices were in line or better than other sites. Their prices were $1,000 less than if we purchased our printer directly through our access service provider which did not include the camera bundle. IDVille made clear that there was a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and as we were selecting a different brand of printer, it was important that we know that if this was not compatible with our security software, that we could return the printer for a replacement. IDVille's available live support after the purchase was also a key factor as trying to track down someone to help us with our current badge printer (Magicard) was nearly impossible and when I did reach someone at Magicard, it was a receptionist, not a support tech. We had a problem with the ribbon repeatedly breaking. She told me to tape the broken ribbon together and keep using it. As I was searching, I noticed that several other companies offering badge printers had the same look and feel. When I looked at the address bar they all defaulted to the same base web address. This seems rather deceptive. Once I sent in my request that I would like to speak with someone, I was assigned Josselynn Wagner who called promptly. Josselynn offered to send me some badge samples so I could compare actual results from actual printers. That was one of the most valuable parts of the process to see what the printers were producing and they came very quickly. I had many questions during the selection process and Josselynn always took her time answering my questions. When the questions were of a more technical nature, she involved the tech support team to make sure the answers provide were correct. As a former sales representative, we all know that such time investments do not always result in a sale, yet Josselynn was always willing to spend as much time as needed to help me in whatever way possible. Once the printer was selected, we had a rather lengthy requisition process that seemed would never be finalized. Josselynn remained patient throughout and continued to be available to anyone in the process who may have questions or concerns. I highly recommend IDVille and Josselynn in particular. If you are looking for a badge printer or supplies, you can start and end with IDVille and know you will receive exceptional service.
