So you buy insurance for your pet but is it any good when it comes to the claim? Well as far as Vetsure are concerned yes it is and over our first year of being insured our staffy has had a number of claims to do with an itchy skin problem and various accidents like sucking grass seeds up his nose, our vet practice makes a direct claim and we just pay the excess so very easy. Having had treatment nearing £2000 on our dog when it came to renewal I thought the premium would go up massively but the monthly payment only increased by £6 and his monthly injection for his itchy skin problem is still included with no further excess to pay for that condition. As far as the Vetsure team are concerned I have spoken to them on a number of occasions and they are super helpful with concern only for my dog and not the costs, I highly recommend Vetsure and thank them for their help.

Although I didn’t or claim on my first years insurance with these, and my next years went up I still recommend these. My dog had to have an operation abs they very quickly gave permission to the vests to go ahead and I have had very little work to do. I had a level of cover that was good so I have plenty not to think about other than the health of my dog.

They pay directly to vets. My premiums have gone up a lot but compared to what they have paid out for my dog's surgeries, I can't complain.

Very pleased with the efficient way that my claim was dealt with I would have awarded 5 stars if payment had been made in the time frame initially stated.

Our beloved pet had several lumps and these have been observed by our Vet. He was seen by the Vet a few times during lockdown. After the first lockdown was over it was felt that two needed to be removed... This was done in a day and we went and collected him and took him back for the stitches removed. It had been a very worrying time for us both about the operation, as he was nearly 12, and how much it would cost us. We are Pensioners. Vetsure were brilliant in the way the claims were dealt with paying the vet direct and we just had to pay the excess. The claims are always dealt with , quickly and they inform us of everything. Very good service from Vetsure Insurance with straightforward instructions on how to make a claim. The company appears to have a good rapport with my veterinary practice.I chose to pay my vet's bills upfront and then make a refund claim once the treatment my young dog was receiving was completed and everything went through very smoothly.

Excellent professional service

Our 4 year old Cavachon started to walk with a limp. Her rear right leg was obviously giving her pain. An X ray showed that she had torn a ligament so badly that it required surgery. As our vet has close ties with Vetsure, the process of making a claim was simple, they did it for us. All we had to do was confirm by Email what had happened and our claim was settled within 48 hours. We could not have had a more efficient and professional response. Our Cavachon is recovering well.
