United States | 04 February 2020Excellent, on time, and efficient service! Our experience working with US Coachways was very positive. From the sales and customer service team - James D, Salee B, and Peter T, everyone was very helpful and accommodating. Most important was their ability to respond fairly quickly to emails and inquiries. Now onto our driver Ernest R. He was the best driver I've worked with to date. Always on time, accommodating to our schedule and very responsive, we would not have had as successful and as safe of a trip if it wasn't for Ernest! Now the bus - very clean, functioning and comfortable. The only critique is that the microphone didn't work, but it wasn't a big deal. The pilgrimage we went on is a trip I have been going on for the last 4-5 years. Organizationally - US Coachways made it so easy for us to bring everything else together and with a great price too. I look forward to working with them in the future!

United States | 03 February 2020Bus was clean. I think it might have been brand new. Our driver Willy was very courteous. We had to shift our start time and drop off location slightly, and they were easy to work with. The price was more affordable than other companies as well. Will definitely look to this company again when I need chartered services.

United States | 29 January 2020I recently returned home from Montreal from a Model United Nations conference. Because of the errors of our bus company, US Coachways Inc., it took us 23 hours to return home. On our drive to Montreal, the bus had been making unusual noises, however it had been ignored. On the drive home, at around 10:45 pm, our bus stopped working outside of Toronto. The bus company had absolutely no protocol on what to do if a bus breaks down in Canada, despite offering services to transport individuals across the border. After the bus stopped working, it took well over an hour for a mechanic to come. We discovered that the transmission was irreparable, the bus had to be towed, and we had to be transferred to another bus to be transported home. We were informed that, once the mechanic arrived, another bus would be sent for and was two hours away. However, we were soon informed that the bus was, in fact, 4.5 hours away and we could no longer stay in the bus because it needed to be towed. A taxi company was called and 33 college students were shuttled to a random Tim Hortons about 15 minutes away from the bus. By the time I arrived at the Tim Hortons, I had spent 5 hours in a broken bus on the side of the highway. We were then camped out at this Tim Hortons until 8:30 in the morning, with the second bus arriving 2.5 hours after originally anticipated. It those of us on the bus 23 hours to return home from this conference. They attempted to repair the bus with us in it, which is illegal. I encourage you all the share this post to bring awareness of the situation that myself and my friends just encountered, and the mismanagement of the company that we had trusted to transport us across the border. United States | 26 January 2020BEWARE of US Coachways, Staten Island, NY !! I am a HS Educator in NJ. For several years now, I have been taking students, annually, on a day outing, to see a Broadway Show in NYC. For this event, I always Charter a BUS, which has NEVER been a problem, until this year. Unfortunately, this year I had the misfortune of dealing with US Coachways of Staten Island, NY. I contacted US Coachways (aka: USC), reserved and booked a bus from them. This Chartered Bus was Paid in Full: $1400.00. Each of my students paid their percentage of the Bus cost out of pocket. This Charter reservation was processed and booked by USC rep Mr. Joseph J*******. I confirmed our Contract Booking every step of the process. Everything seemed to go smoothly, until the day of our trip. Unfortunately on the day of our trip, a USC Bus was NOT at our school... instead, another bus was there to take us, A NO NAME BUS !! Yes, this bus was not a USC Bus... It had NO NAME ON IT !! This was an old broken bus, which was disgusting inside, unsanitary, FILTHY, foul odor, and did NOT have working AC, which the driver said was broken!! The driver of this Bus was extremely nice, and expressed his concerns, especially not having working AC on a hot day. I did not know what to do at this point in time. I was responsible for the well being of 50 students, & I did not feel comfortable putting them on this bus. We tried desperately to reach Mr. J******* via phone, he (nor anyone) was NOT available to assist us - Unacceptable !! We left messages, to no response... I had no control of this awful situation and had 50 students standing outside waiting... Through conversation with bus driver, we figured out what was going on... Driver indicated that this bus was NOT a USC Bus... but turns out it was a subcontracted bus from a company by the name of A********* Bus Company, operated out of MA... I was confused, disappointed & humiliated !! I felt scandalized & offended. We had the driver call his company. He got his superior on the phone and we discussed and requested they send us a different bus, for the reasons I stated above. After a lengthy conversation, he agreed to send another bus, but our ONLY option was to meet & do the exchange at a GSP Rest area, and switch buses. I had no other choice but to choose this option, or we do not get to NYC. I was extremely frustrated & upset. I put my students on this awful bus, and as promised, another bus was waiting for us (to NO help from USC). Although this bus was not much better, it at least had working (SLIGHTLY) AC... Both these buses did not seem suitable by any charter bus standards !! Hiring USC was an extremely frustrating & baffling experience. Please use your better judgement if your even thinking about using US Coachways of Staten Island NY, services !! NOTE: It was never originally indicated, mentioned OR clear to me that: "per contract, they have the right to subcontract buses". Not sure if they ONLY subcontract out Buses, & not sure if they even own their own bus fleet. May just be a Broker !! NOTE: Mr. J******* & USC will most likely respond to this review by saying: This is unfortunately out of anyone's control at USC, OR that subcontracting Buses is clearly written within their contract, which was never pointed out to me, as I mentioned. Okay, then lets keep it real here... Even if I were aware of them subcontracting buses, does that give US Coachways the right to send a broken filthy bus? DISGRACEFUL, UNACCEPTABLE & UNETHICAL. NOTE: After I contacted the BBB, USC offered us a 10% refund, which I declined. In addition, if I accepted this offer, I would also need to sign a document agreeing NOT to write any type negative reviews. Also, take notice that they do NOT allow REVIEWS on their website or FB Page. This day has always been a memorable and enjoyable one for my students, chaperons, and myself. Instead, because of USC incompetence, our day was anything but. USC responsibility was to provide us with their Bus service, and they failed - excessively!! They should NOT be allowed to get away with this type of substandard business!! Shame on you !!
